Maybe catnap made a shrine with dead toys because the prototype does this to himself, and this is a great way to support that! The chapter title being spelt out and the reveal of this is spectacular! I’ll also mention how the 1006 vhs you made is also amazing.

@@samdananimation2443 Maybe they dug elliot out and used his corpse to reanimate him and 'give him life'. Corrupting him in the process but it would make sense cuz 'the prototype' could be an homage to elliot ludwig being the original founder of playtime co to also becoming the first test subject.

For some reason I feel like Elliot is not the prototype but the 1006 is actually the body of the young boy who was found on the Estate of Elliot Ludwig, that’s the only time in the series where we hear about key bones and skeletal support taken from the body. It could be possible that the first big body experiment 1006 was actually Ludwig’s first experiment of the bbi, and after he died they tried to make the experiments better

Dude this is reminiscent of the movie 9, with the big mechanical sentient machines that are programmed to absorb all of the professors soul to become more human then the little protagonists, actually fits the story too if the prototype was split in all of the toys in some way

Tbh, im going to be disappointed if the prototype doesn't look like this or at least similar to it because the whole design, especially the eye lighting up every time he talks, is perfect.

This makes everyone question what the prototype supposed to be?
While looking at them and seeing what they’re capable of, it might be a “toy maker”, or as some people call them “toy doctor” which might be the reason that the scientist try to release into the public after testing, but then stop to only discover that it has something that even they don’t know to the point, that each session of the experiments will only make them want more. There might be theories on what the prototype is doing or what is it wants to accomplish.
In case people don’t know, the music that plays is called ‘One Zero Zero Six’ the prototype’s theme. It is played when you see CatNap at the Shrine. Clever to use this in ur animation, and I definitely think it will be used in a future chapter title screen.

My theory is, Prototype is a kid who managed to escape a brutal experiment so they tried to catch up with him if you all remember the last tape in chapter 2

Maybe it's the prototype. Maybe it could be "Boxy Boo". We've saw him in the hallways during the long and agonizing "The Hour of Joy". Maybe it's both of them (and/or more) in the same chapter, as we have seen multiple bosses already. Either way. It looks cool and I can't wait for Chapter 3. I just stumbles across the game a week ago and now i am hooked.
Maybe the Level will be called "Spring the trap" as a pun on Boxy Boos appearance and whatever The Employee, Poppy and The Prototype have in mind. It's hard to wait. I'm curious to know more about Ollie and what happend.

Brilliant work! Keeping to in-game format, and the blurb is short and sweet yet alluring! Damn I wish this was canon.
a concept that i wanted Mob Games took is that when the player is booting up Chapter 4 for the first time, the main menu wouldn't show Experiment 1006 model (or alternatively just show the pre-existing hand model) once the player has completed the game, the main menu changed displaying the full model of 1006. That way the player will have complete zero knowledge on how 1006 look until it reveals itself ingame and adds a lot of the suspense that we got from Chapter 2

I love that during the reveal at 0:14, it uses that same sound from the PP Chapter 3 Teaser #2 when the prototype was shown there.

Im really hoping in my heart that the prototype looks somewhat similar to this, but also 100 times more gruesome. With the way this story is headed, I will be disappointed if the prototype isn't a disturbing amalgamation.
