I have the same truck in 2024 and slate gray. Absolutely love it. Averaging 22mpg in the city at 5000 elevation. Took it off road and was rather impressed (I’m coming from a built out fj cruiser) and it tows our camper trailer which is about 6k lbs like nothing. Great buy !
have you had any problems with the rock chips on the front bumper? im looking at getting the 1500 and didnt want to pay the 950 bucks for a protection film
@@FUZZION-jk9rr I have a 2020 Silverado RST with color matched bumpers from factory. I live in a rural area on a dirt road, lots of bugs, barely any issues with paint chips. Film couldn't hurt tho. But I don't think id pay $950 for it.
@@fit4ya1975 yeah thats what i was saying thats just too expensive in my opinion but im guessing if your on the highway you could just stay back a little and may be fine
@@FUZZION-jk9rr I only have 1500 miles on the truck. So far, my 2500 is not having chip issues. I did just get it ceramic coated. Not sure if that will add much protection, but hoping it does.
I wish there was a way to get rid of the second tab on the screen. Drives me crazy in my 2024 high country that 1/3rd of the screen gets taken up by features I’m not using. Especially annoying when using car play.
Should I take on 1k dollars a month in debt for 6 years to drive a depreciating asset that’s worth less than half of msrp by the time it’s paid off. Or should I take that 1k a month and stick it in an ETF earning 10% of the same time period. Tough choice
It’s a great trim but fully loaded best to step up to zr2 or go at4 for the better interior and options.

I ended up spending another $7,000 and purchased a 2500 ZR2 with a 6.6 gas. Both great trucks. I had a 2020 Trail Boss with the 6.2.
Money well spent. You got 2x the truck.

Love the exterior design of the trail boss. It looks aggressive. I just wish the interior design was aggressive as well.
Insane Chevy Ben !! ❤❤
Review the 6.2 some you have only latly done the 3.0
Depends if you like headaches and long periods without the car.
Burn
Trail boss is a cool truck for a Chevy Silverado I love the bumper steps
They come in handy
Ok, thanks!
Think I saw where fog lights were best at 18 inches from the pavement
2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Z71 Trail Boss Dark Essentials 3.0L Duramax Diesel 10-Speed Automatic Crew Cab 4X4!
Rather have my21rst 6.2 extended cab with 22’s and the performance package
Which drives better the 6.2 or diesel?
6.2 is quicker but diesel is better imo
Why such bad gearing like a 3.42
Economy
