- Put your faith in what you most believe in
Two worlds, one family
Trust your heart
Let fate decide
To guide these lives we see
A paradise untouched by man
Within this world blessed with love
A simple life, they live in peace
Softly tread the sand below your feet now
Two worlds, one family
Trust your heart
Let fate decide
To guide these lives we see
Beneath the shelter of the trees
Only love can enter here
A simple life, they live in peace
Raise your head up
Lift high the load
Take strength from those that need you
Build high the walls
Build strong the beams
A new life is waiting
But dangers no stranger here
No words describe a mothers tears
No words can heal a broken heart
A dream is gone, but where theres hope
Somewhere something is calling for you
Two worlds, one family
Trust your heart
Let fate decide
To guide these lives we see

Phil Collins didn’t have to go so hard with this song, but he did. He did that for us.
This comment made my day even though it's from a year ago

This comment made my day even though its from 2 years ago! Greetings from switzerland
The soundtrack is the best part about Tarzan. He gave it 110%.
"It's just a movie about a boy growing up with animals, make it simple."
Phill Collins channeling the primordial force of music itself: "No."
Hahahaha I’ve heard a lot of these but “primordial” got me laughing irl
"A PARADISE UNTOUCHED BY MAN" hits so much harder than it has to
Yes it does
"No words describe a mother's tears"
so so sadly true
Yo sigo llorando con esta canción en Inglés o español y tengo 25 años
...screw them, and her.
I'm not tolerating any crybullies anymore.
“No words describe a mother’s tears
No words can heal a broken heart”
My brother Andrew committed suicide at age 18 last May. Lyrics like this didn’t really have a lot of meaning to me until then; I flew to Sacramento the day my other brother Daniel informed me of the tragedy. Upon arrival, I saw my mother, pale as a ghost and motionless as stone. I’ve had my share of grieving since then, but Phil Collins’ lyrics hit perfectly here. My mother’s tears couldn’t be described with words, my mother’s broken heart couldn’t be healed with words.
“A dream is gone, but where there’s hope…”
On the other side of adversity is a blessing of equal or greater magnitude. The dream of creating epic memories with Andrew and changing the world with him is gone, but that just means one door is closed and another opened. Seven months later and we’re already seeing some of that, there is no denying this tragedy has brought us all closer together as a family. I didn’t have a human-to-human relationship with Daniel nor my sister Abby until this; we just co-existed for their entire lives and hardly actually knew each other. When I visited them again for Christmas, my mother told me that she and I are the only two people Abby feels like she can have a conversation with. That’s pretty huge for me as an older brother.
If that much blessing can be seen in just seven months, can you imagine what will happen in 40 years?
Man I'm really sorry for your brother, I can't imagine the tears your mother was shedding at the funeral, it must not be easy for a mother/father to bury a son, when the usual is a son that buries his parents.
The sad part is Andrew's death, but I'm glad that now you and your brothers are more united and take care of each other, and everyone are more united with your mother too, may time heal you and your family, and may Andrew rest in peace.
Blessings will come to you, and more.
I feel you man! I was just on winter break, and a few days ago I met a boy while playing a game called rec room, and at first we were good friends, and I was fine with that, until one day,I began to develop romantic feelings for him,and at that very moment,I knew the truth,I was gay,and it took me a while to realize it,but when I did,I was absolutely shocked, horrified even, and so at first I kept to myself and barely told a soul, until one day,I just couldn't keep it secret,so, I told the closest people I knew...my parents, now my parents are...old fashioned,so I was afraid at what they'd think,I was worried they wouldn't see me as perfect anymore, but to my surprise,my confession was met with great affection, and surprisingly, they said they supported me,and to this day, they still do
🌟♥️😔🌟♥️ So very sorry… for You & Your Families loss!
im really sorry for your brother, he's in your heart and your memories
So sorry for your loss
Let it Go? Nah. We got Phil Collins
YASS!
Agreed yessss
JFC YES!!!
That's right. Let it Go is only song for low-rates
Speaking of Frozen, I read from some Disney fanfiction that Tarzan could be a brother of Elsa and Anna.
At the beginning of the song, I like how the drums and whatnot start to crescendo and start to get more and more intense. And then, right at the peak, the drums are super intense, like some epic, tense Tribal music from an epic high-budget motion picture.
Phil Collins did not have to go that hard, but he did it for us.
The part that hits me is " no words describe a mothers tears no words can heal a broken heart"
Don't know why it speaks to me so loudly :'(
You're not alone I love this song and movie
Because you kno its the part where Sabor took the life of Tarzans parents and the baby gorilla
Maaan I remember the part where sabor killed the baby gorilla, he just snatched it up 😞
@@NIkki-ox1ej didn't he chase the baby gorilla into the bushes and only it's traumatizing screams could be heard in the background. After that we are left to assume what terrible deed happened next 😭😭🤧 Honestly I'm glad we didn't see how he killed Tarzan's parents
“somewhere something is calling for you” something about this line is so nostalgic
This song gives me all the feels... It's like telling a story
What's the message of this song? Two worlds, one family....Correct me if I'm wrong. Too tired, my dear. How did you feel so far? Let' go to bed and have more energy for tomorrow. Will ya?😊😊😊Suddenly the song "dreaming of you" came to my mind. I'll dream of you tonite. We are battling.....🤣🤣🤣Until I see you again. With 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
@@hillaryt7405 what in the world are you talking about ?!
I'm a 22 year old bodybuilder who likes to think hes tough but in reality I still listen to Tarzan to motivate me lol
No shame in that, keep pumping iron bro
It’s nothing to be ashamed of! On the contrary it does make you TOUGHER!
The fact that you listen to PC to pump iron gives me hope for people our age. Keep at it, brother!
lol
HELL yeah
I love Phil's voice, so smooth
And unique!
He makes really great songs!
the orchestration in this song is actually amazing
Elliot9120 Isn’t it? If you strip it of Phil Collins it would still be striking.
Man, the Phil Collins music in Tarzan, just... it just NAILS IT. Hits home. Is spot on. Fantastic.
Every song is a masterpiece, I really like I could run as fast as I can to it. It is that rare kind of music that can make you feel closer to nature, yet completely human at the same time. That's really difficult to achieve in this time and age.
"No words describe a mother's tears. No words can heal a broken heart." Always gets me emotional.
Phil Colins Two Worlds (Lyrics)
Man, I just turned 19, on the 19th and this was literally my childhood growing up. I'll never forget even playing this on the PS1. How time flies. Sad to see Disney don't make movies like these anymore. This is the song of my life.
That game was a lot of fun, they managed to capture the aesthetic very well.
Sequel after shitty 3D animation after soooo many live actions after another
You’re 19 so born in 2002 let’s say you start playing games in 2007-8 at the earliest and you were playing on a ps1 ? And have enough memories of it to feel nostalgic ? And say they don’t make movies like this anymore ? 😂😂 Get outta here kid
@@kbutler0615 Why are you so pressed? Also, everyone has different lives, and different access to things. Stop being jealous of others. Grow up child, it's clear that you were spoiled "Kevin Boiler". It's actually sad we have people with your mentality getting mad at other people's enjoyment. What I stated is true and my opinion, if you can't handle it, that's your problem. Literally Amercain Karen Moment you just caused.
@@kbutler0615 Since when are you in-charge of other's peoples lives, and determine what they've done, and can enjoy? Stop being jealous that your miserable. No one here has ever said anything negative in the comments other than you. As he said, Clearly your an Amercain Karen.

This is indeed one of the best songs ever, but what is really sad the new disney movies fail to even come close to the greatness of older disney movies like this and whatnot.
Yes.
Some got Let it go, others got Hannah Montana, but we Had a Legendary Legend the one n only Mr. Phil collins
Eeeh well er if you saw the early MCU stuff.

Man, I'm 19, about to be 20 soon and this was literally my childhood growing up. I'll never forget even playing this on the PS1. How time flies. Sad to see Disney don't make movies like these anymore. This is the song of my life, literally, and the soundtrack. The lyrics and everything, always bring tears too me espically with the powerful messages, and all I've been through. Phil Collins, my all time favorite legend, the guy who helped me throughout my life.
90s kids baby. I'm so thankful to my parents for making me watch this movie when i was a kid and grow up with these beautiful songs. Whattay time it was
I feel the same. The Disney movies that I was watching as a kid used to hit different, I'm just glad those movies have been part of my childhood. I miss those days so much fr
Why does Phil Collins always make me tear up?! So beautiful.
This song is straight bangers, I remember being obsessed with this theme as a kid and when I got the DVD for this movie, I'd replay the opening scene again and again to hear this dope song. You have no idea how much joy I felt when the song was reused in the Legends of Tarzan animated show.
Bro me too, Phil Collin songs give me chills and great energy, I be almost about to cry sometimes, his music brings life
Not a single rhyme, and still beautiful lyrics
lol it does rhyme sometimes
Two worlds, one *family*
Trust your heart
let fate decide
to guide these lives we *see*
Family and see rhyme
Stranger and danger rhyme
122 plus you don't understand rhymes lol
This song always me cry profusely. It is so beautiful, and the lyrics speak to anyone!
May Athena OMG same hr!!! i broke into tears like twice in frnt of my parents ... reminded me of my childhood
***** shai?
One of those songs that's not really sad at all, but brings back memories of scenes which were extremely sad. I usually lose it at the last chorus after "no words can describe a mother's tears" I have the same reaction to the "To the Moon" soundtrack.
Phil Collins songs have been getting stuck in my head for weeks and weeks. Not that I'm complaining. He's a terrific musician.
I always found this song gorgeous. It teaches a valuable lesson. No matter how much different we may appear to be on the outside, we are all still a family. No matter what.
born in 95 i watched this movie when it came out in 99, im now 18 years old, holy nostalgia
How do you feel now?
Anime Randomness810 I also wanna know that
Well we are old now 27 bro :/
I watched Tarzan when I was 8. I'm now 23 and still love it to this day. never changing my mind about it no matter what anyone says.
The day God spoke to me through the Holy Spirit I felt like this song connected me to him and how he helped me release years of pure unadulterated hate and anger but when I felt his spiritual loving arms surround me, I cried so hard that my father was shocked at me finally letting go of what happened to me in my past. This song also helped me survive through 7 years of child abuse and kept me connected to my dad from miles away in Escanaba Michigan and my dad was in Detroit Michigan and everytime my dad wished me happy birthday, I could feel his love in my darkest hours. His spiritual love as a father to me his one and only son was what kept me from turning into the joker back then in my darkest hours and from commiting Seppaku. Phil Collins and Disney was what kept me from letting my flames of life, of survival from going out to the day I was rescued and saved. Phil Collins, thank you for making songs like this that can spiritually save a person from madness and from their inner demons. This is me speaking from personal experience
Frozen: Let it go is a good song
Phil Collins: Hold my beer.
let it go, let it go, we didn''t need something that wasn't sappy anyway.
@@gorkskoal9315Nice, I was actually singing that and laughed hard 😂
I almost always nearly break into tears when I come to the "Somewhere something is calling for you" part.
I have danced for my entire life and from the moment I heard this I knew I was going to do a solo to it. 12 years later, it still remained so powerful to me, and I danced to this for my senior solo. This is without a doubt my favorite song ever written, let alone a disney movie
This song was my intro to Phil Collins. From the moment I first heard his voice, I fell in love with his music. It saddens me deeply that he can no longer sing, but at least we have these treasures. All hail Phil Collins!
By far the best interpretation of Tarzan I've seen so far. Aside from sounding great, I thought Phil Collins' soundtrack having Phil himself sing what the characters were feeling came off much more natural than if the had everyone singing show tunes. I know I'm gonna catch a lot of hate for saying that, but yolo.
How? It's only true.
Phil Collins has done some of my favorite songs in existence. Fills me with warmth this song.
Can't... stop... crying...
This song is legendary.
somehow I wouldn't surprised if I getting lost in middle of jungle and heard sound of Phil Collins from a distance.
That voice is irreplaceable. Phil Collins is a true legend.
whoa. when phil starts singing i got chills. nostalgia!
I think that Phil Collins wasn't as appreciated as he deserved to be. So i would like to say Thank You. Thank you Phil Collins for making my childhood an amazing one. For singing songs that inspire people.
i just had a medium reading today - didn't expect it - thought a psychic reading - i lost my father last year - under difficult circumstances - and the first thing she said to me on connecting was to play this song that he wanted to communicate with me. i've never heard it before and am sure he didnt/ he died 90 odd. but we fell out and this song summarises so much especially the mothers tears bit .... and to look up and look ahead... two worlds one family. oh mi im crying writing this as im just playing it for the first time... now. so many other things she told me that no stranger could ever know - even the poem i read for him in the funeral - I made up that she recounted first line of each verse - about looking for him in nature and so much else. astonishing. So touched.
Honesty, my all time favourite movie since my childhood. Legendary soundtrack by Phil Collins, The Cast, the storyline, and the characters. Till this day, this movie and soundtrack brings me joy and a bit of tears to my eyes. If you asked me to describe this movie, I couldn't fit it all in this box. This film once out carried many childhoods espically with my generation, and some of these music literally give sentimental meaning to my past experiences, and life. Pure legend of a film.
Ah, Tarz, my favorite Dis movie.
"DAD! WE'RE ENGAAAGED!!!"

Wow. Everyone actually came back for this. :o
It's Phil Collins, of course they came back, we all did! 😃
"Softly tread the sand below your feet now" that line gives me the chills. :)
Same except for me it's whenever he says "put your faith in what you most believe in
Listening to this song as a mother.. really hits hard and brings tears to my eyes
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Simply wonderful and heartening. :)
3 minutes of 'went back in time and relived childhood'
We grew up in a time that we should cherish! I'm sad for my younger siblings who wont be able to live the magical movies of Disney that I lived
Literally just turned 19 years old, on the 19th, and I just have to say every year I always listen to this song since its my childhood when I was growing up. I honestly can't believe how fast time passes, I'll always remember playing this on the PS1 with my twin brother legit so many memories, I literally remember it as if it was yesterday. It's honestly so sad to see that Disney longer makes shows like these & how fast time passes. Whenever I listen to this song, I can't just help but remember the countless memories I have with it even shedding tears when I hear it. Truly amazing, and my childhood song. The song of my life and how its described. 💙🎉

I will always love this song!
This song makes me emotional :') it's my absolute favourite film of all time. Ngl I cry everytime I hear this :3
It makes me think of growing up and making a family of my own where my family now would be the other "world"
I just saw the original Tarzan. Amazing movie, I really wish there were more like it. Disney is the best. Classic Disney that is... screw Hannah Montana and those Jonas brothers. Classic animation should always be remembered.
Phil Collins' voice is really powerful. There's so much emotion in this song.
Brings back memories
Does anyone else get emotional thinking about what is happening in the movie while listening to these lyrics/watching the movie or just me? 💔🙏
That stupid leopard/jaguar whatever it was that killed Tarzan’s parents and the gorilla baby represents the harshness of the reality of the world 🌎
Well if the leopard didn't realize that the family was half prepared for the guy, for goodness sake 😂
How could a movie like Tarzan with an upbeat soundtrack that Phil Collins created be so underrated for a Disney movie
God. Phil Collin's voice always gives me shivers, he's just so GOOD!
I miss when Disney would have him perform music for them, and when Disney was good.

Thank you Jontron, for reminding me of this song
Don't thank that idiot, thank PHIL COLLINS for writing it
Phil Collins didn't remind me of this song when I watched JonTron's Hercules video. So I'm not thanking him for jack
I couldn't think of a better artist to do these songs than Phil Collins: he did a masterful job on this and l'm glad he did!!

Beautiful song! I love Phil Collins' voice :)
The amazing music still doesn't quite hide the fact that this opening was horribly tragic. This is still one of my favorite movies, though!
