Nice one mate! Strangely enough I decided that this year will be the year I get my own copy of Spacecrusade fully painted! Worked on the Ultramarines today and have some magnets due in the post hopefully on Monday 😄. Great vid mate, 👍
Man, the price has sky rocketed the past few years. I managed to get a nearly complete set for £67!!! Bargain at the current prices. I haven't played it since the 90s.
Sorry for the late reply, It is on my to do list for sure but I may just post the completed set on instagram & facebook at the very least. I have few projects lined up so it's a matter of fitting it in. Thank you.
Not always as I find a good primer helps keep the paint on most of the time, however I do use Vallejo Matt or Gloss varnish applied with airbrush on occasion.
@@Quellenmeister I have not used it before but hear mixed results with the spray cans, leaving a chalky powder look on the figures. I prefer using dropper bottles for this because I can use a very light coat or mix in with the paint. If I do eventually try it I’ll be doing a test run first.
I don’t know what you did but it looks like you painted these in a retro like paint job but you didn’t how i i followed this it would look like a modern looking paint job
I think it's a combination of choosing bold colours to stand out on the board, and the intensity and balance of modern techniques to get the effect I was going for. I wanted them to really pop at a glance but draw you in upon closer inspection with the details.
For the weapons I used 2mm X 2mm and the figures 3mm X 3mm. I found the 3mm ones were just too large for the weapons when drilling the holes, but they almost fit the figure’s existing hole.
From a french guy who used to live in Brisbane few years ago!!!! Merci beaucoup!!!!
fun video! im glad i came across your channel! liked and subbed.
I wish this game wasn’t so hard to find in the US. I would love to make an army out of the space marine figures if I could.
Australian channel, Space Crusade, Painting? Say no more. upvoted.

Can you tell us where you found the bases. I am looking for them but mostly come unpainted
Look great mate, the chaos space marines I reckon are timeless sculpts but the loyalists look kinda weird...cool but weird !

Which size are the magnets?
3mm or 2mm ?
