@Lrodriguez Media dude the car looks awesome btw I didn't think that rpf1s would look so good on our car's and did you notice a big difference in acceleration when you went from stocks to the enkei's
@@JorgeCabrera-zh7yr The weight difference alone was huge, the stocks with tires weighed in at around 60lbs, the rf1s with tires weighed in at around 42-45lbs iirc. Best bang for your buck wheels for sure!
Hahaha, to be fair it was his first time running the car like this in the mountains so he was getting a feel for it. I just came out with a video of my lead run if you wanna check it out! :)
Driver in the Supra is definitely a nube! I’d of been going a lot faster into the corners and pulling out in second gear like a rocket. This guy was way under driving that Supra!! 🤦♂️
Dope, this car really punches above its weight on a twisty backroad. What camera did you use to get the behind footage? I’d love to get driving footage like that of my Veloster N
Your turbo has the stututu, what did you do to your blow off valve or does it normally sound like that?? beautiful car, I want to upgrade/trade my Honda civic 2023 sport for it.
Greater pressure generally equates to more traction/faster response time. Higher rear pressure invites the backend to rotate around quicker in a FWD. Generally its better to have lower front pressure for track use since the fronts will be receiving more heat (naturally raising the pressure) during extended sessions of braking and hard cornering. If a tire gets too hot from higher pressures, it will overheat and lose traction. The tire's compound determines this rate of endurance/maintenance of traction during a variety of load scenarios. High performance tires take this into account. Basic all seasons or winter tires, not so much.
The camera needs to be a little higher up so us viewers can see the road and the other car. Otherwise it is just the same as taking a still video of the rear end of your car. I love the Veloster N btw
Oh for sure I agree! Unfortunately we were kind of pressed for time to attend a meet later so this is what I had to work with. My latest video with the moody weather has a better angle of both.
Highly doubt NC state troopers closed the tail of the dragon just for y’all to drive like that, plus having oncoming traffic. Everytime I go there, there’s always one that crosses the double line going into a blind corner inches from hitting me. It’s not a race track. All it takes is for someone to oversteer or understeer and they’re ending up in a ditch lol
Lol, just another fearmonger. As long as you yourself know your limits, are paying attention to other drivers, & are aware of the dangers they could present on the roadway to you, driving will always be very safe if you know how to & can react in a split second when a threat emerges. You may be at the wheel of a 3000+ lb speed machine but the wheel is /still/ in your hands after all. Dodge. Besides, significant risks can be managed appropriately, even more so, since you can choose when to drive in a spirited manner. There is a right time and place for everything. Always be aware of the risks but do not let yourself get distracted needlessly by "what ifs", maintain control at all times, & at utmost, enjoy the drive. There are always people like you on all of these driving videos that raise a hoot about "that one time when or what if x happened so don't ever even try to have fun" but on average, that kind of incident may be 1/1000 or less but, of course, elevated by chaotic stupidity in the spur of the moment by an unskilled driver. Tail of the Dragon practically invites driving enthusiasts so the mixture of skilled and unskilled is more prominent, allowing for anomalies to rise up from the pool of possibility.

I wouldn't have showed the first clip. It gives off "oh, it's rhd" vibes. And also, it cuts to him reaching in, and the next clip shows him at the tailgate. Just try and visualize seeing it for the first time after its all edited together. "eh that doesn't go with the next clip or it does or maybe I want this later or earlier in the video." Criticize your own video before you post so maybe others won't. It was just the first clip to the second for me. The rest of the "story" was well played out. Just giving dome advice, what you do with it, is up to you.
You're slowing me down Supra!
hahaha
beautiful run, extremely capable car and driver
Thanks bro, appreciate the kind words!
GTI, Supra mk5, and Veloster N are some of my favourite cars
But none compare to a focus rs
Wow that was awesome. Such a high level of production quality
Wouldn’t go that far haha, appreciate the kind words bro!
Hell yeah man. This was an epic run
Next time I’m following you to see what that gti do
Quality Content per usual👑
Miss you bro! Hope you're doing amazing!
Proper fun
Most fun I’ve had in this car
Your turbo/intake noises 😻
I need more!!

@Lrodriguez Media yup they definitely are I had black rpf1s on my 10th gen si awesome wheels I'm thinking about getting them for the VN
Sick run. I grew up not far from here and own a 1st gen Veloster Turbo. Might have to make a run
Just watch out for the engine issues that gen 1s are prone to have. I'm kinda going through it arm 😅
Great video man!
Tires make big difference when racing drifting or on track/mountain trail. All day any day!
🔥🔥
No u
come on over take him!
Supra was too slow, i have a veloster N and i did few pass there, without the supra at front you can get more than that

Did you have to get a custom tune to run the catless down pipe or did the base map Jb4 work?
Rear camera set up?
How’d you get your tail lights like that?

It's such a capable car man! Surprises me every time! I used the Insta360 one X2 with the gecko triple suction cup mount! Hope this helped you!
@@LrodriguezMediait truly is! And thanks for the answer 🙏

Thanks! It’s just an AEM intake, no BOV
33 PSI in the front? is it to get more grip? Recommended PSI is 38 F - 35 R
39F-35R is recommended on the door sill for best economy. 33 is for more front grip on the roads. You can do lower if you're on the track

What phone mount are you using? and what gopro mount did you use?
Just some phone mount i found at home depot, and the gopro mount is just the head mount from best buy
How do you get the brake light on the wing to flash like that?
It was a dealer option for my car but there are kits that are aftermarket for it.

Just an intake, BOVs sound like a choo choo train
@Lrodriguez Media awesome. Thanks!
you need an oil cooler my friend
supra man was not confident here
what intake is this?
AEM Cold Air Intake, The mods are in the description if you were wondering about anything else!
Sub 998. Two more to go 😊

i'd get left behind instantly
