    Hi Dave, I never comment on any videos whatsoever but just came across your Portra Preset (because this one here wasnt available yet), bought it and its the first preset that actually works the way its promoted. I love it. Very well done!

      Thanks Luis! There was a sync issue with the timing of the preset launch, but it’s up now! Appreciate your support!

    Hi Dave, I loved the way you are showing the preset application in a real life point of view. I usually edit from the scratch and if I’ve similar pictures needs to be edited, the I create a preset on my own or sync with it. Since I liked the presets look and especially with the modifiers, I just bought your presets, hopefully it will render the effects as you promote. One quick question, do you mind to share what is the back bag you are using and n this video? Thanks again.

      Thanks for the comment and support! I hope the presets work well for you. The bag I'm carrying in this video is a Filson Dryden backpack with a small Peak Design camera cube stuffed in it. I have a blog about my bags here: dave.online/writings/bags-that-worked-out

    Nice video, clear explanations of your presets and catching a glimpse of beautiful Rome is always a pleasure.
    BTW I believe our mothers lived in the same neighborhood 😊
    Ciao & keep going!

    Great video Dave! Picking up a Q3 this weekend and although I want to give the DNG files a shot myself first, definitely tempted to try your presets after seeing the results! Looking forward to future videos. Keep it up! :)

    I REALLY love the presets you've created! 😀 They make so much fun and the modifier are so useful. Thank you so much for sharing them. I really enjoy your content and hoping for more 😃
    What focal length did you prefer in the small streets of rome? 28, 35 or 50? I wish you all the best!

    • @davidherring
      @davidherring  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the kind words! There will be more presets coming in the future, but I’m making sure whatever I release is something I’m really proud of and actually use, not just making a bunch of presets to sell. As for focal length, 28mm has been the best! I’ve used the Q2 a lot, as well as the 50mm on the M when I want a bit more.

    Do you edit your picture on a macbook? If so, wouldn't it be better to do it on a monitor which uses adobe rgb, because macs use the p3 color gamut.
    Greetings and thank you for your awesome work!

    • @davidherring
      @davidherring  Год назад

      Thank Dean! RGB has a light grain on it already, very “expensive film” style grain. MONO similar, but a bit more.

    I really dislike titles like this which are misleading. This is about promoting your presets.

    You're telling naive beginners that mundane snapshots taken in poor light wiil become good if they slap one of your presets on them (after sending you money if course). This harms learning and improving skills in photography.
