For those who can’t see subtitles - you need to turn on close captioning / subtitles in the video.

Inspired by this Video last Sunday morning just a little before closing time I went to Hamburg' fish market to take some pictures. Guess what, I bumped right into Sigfried who was out there with a workshop group. He was very friendly and accessible and spent a couple of minutes for a small talk with me. I guess next year I will book a workshop with him =)

This is the best video I've seen from you yet and the best treatment of street photography I can think of right now. The interplay between you and the photographer was fantastic how it navigated from one aspect of street to another, winding up covering an ultra-wide gamut of practical, technical, aesthetic, and philosophic subjects at he heart of the genre. Kudos to you for producing this and thank you for introducing me to Herr Hansen's work... the way he goes about his business and the images he produces are inspiring.

Another excellent episode! It's very refreshing to see someone take a very different approach to street and focus more on abstract, graphical compositions instead of just sticking a camera right in someone's face. In some ways it's liberating to be reminded that you really can photograph in any style you want, you don't have to shoot street in any specific way.

It might sound funny but I can't believe it was only 40 minutes. 🥲

Absolut geniales Video!

I like when people go stand, where I was snapping! They look at me and usually say sometimes vexed "There's nothing there!". Often other street photographers.. I find lots in abstracts! I HATE abstract art. It's artificial. Photography for me is finding the shapes, colors and often the right peple. I loved the way Siegfried, placed camera on ground! Subtitles good idea. I barely needed them.. Bravo Samuel and Siegfried.

Sehr interessante Folge Samuel! The gift the keeps on giving. Tolle Serie! ;-) Und Siegfried Hansen nie gekannt und jetzt fan und follower!

This is incredibly refreshing, especially when you compare this to rest of the youtube photography space wich is mostly oversaturated with American content. This is also my first time acquainting myself with mr. Sigfried Hansens amazing work - the way he talks about his process is quite unique and inspirational. Thank you for producing this inspiring conversation I found it very valuable and will take many of ideas discussed into my own work.
