Hi Doc, thank you for this education. I'm a 33yrs and hoping and planning on studying B. RAD next year. After completing my degree, do u think there chances of me getting employed in the public sector ?
My teen was just telling me he wants to be a radiographer... I wasn't sure if there are jobs available in SA for this-are they in high demand or not? Which subjects would he need for this? Currently only in grade 8
There is a demand currently especially in the specialist fields ultrasound , oncology etc. The courses you need English (home language or first additional language), Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
Please check this video out. It is allied and related health professionals' salaries. It includes physiotherapy, dietetics, and podiatry. It's all under one umbrella. ruclips.net/video/WRgRcGmD7eY/видео.html
Thank u, your video is very informative. I want to persue a career in radiography. I'd like to ask what is the average beginner salary when you've obtained your Bachelor's degree
Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic UltraSound and radiation therapy are all 4 years, same as with diagnostic radiography (in Cape Town). Should you wish to specialize after completing the 4 years in diagnostic radiography, you will do 3 years (starting from 2nd year level) as other modules are credited.
@@dawncosmic90 If that is your motivation, I'd suggest that you look for another career.. you'll be depressed in the hospital environment. The answer to your question thou, is: The difference is negligible, although US tends to be a little higher
I'm in grade 11 and I don't do life science, but i do physics and home language(English) and pure Mathematics can I still get in too some type of medicine 😭😭
