You know how to remove the rust, how to use your tools, how work the wood... but you don't know a knife should be made. The finished product looks good, but what is its function to be? It can't be a camp knife because you destroyed the tang. Without a full tang, it is not a strong blade. That will be the weakest part of the knife. You have talent and know how to use your tools, but you must learn more about why different knives/ tools are made the way that they are made. You have talent. Improve on it. I'm sure that you can do better.

I don't get it. What's the purpose of this knife? If it's a Bushcraft chopper you should have kept it a full tang. That handle and glue will blow up. If it's a Bushcraft knife you should not have rounded off the spine, but ground it square to spark a Ferrocenium rod. It is useless as a kitchen knife. The handle and your knuckles would hit the cutting board.

Surely narrowing the tang so much introduced an unnecessary point of failure?
Great way to weaken the knife and make it over heavy on the blade, it had a lovely distal taper on the tang which is now ruined.
I've seen rat tangs on choppers, not break somehow
