Not really. It's boring staring at a screen looking at some moving images, as though it's 1924, instead of 2024. Especially, when there are content providers who actually provide a running commentary on what they're doing and why. I'll stick with the full experience, rather than half of one.
Other than how much you softened the primary grind line, this was perfect, really. It's almost exactly what a restoration should be, you saved all parts you could.
Love old switch blades. Used to have a cool good made German stiletto that I loved and one day it slipped outta my pocket at a restaurant. Went back and it was in someone else’s. I needed that lil chain attachment haha
I have carried a switchblade since I was young, usually a stiletto ( infact there's one in my pocket now) I have quite a few, I am 57 and that "click" still gives me that same thrill as when I was 10 years old.
10?? You're asking for a 10 mate are you kiddin? This ain't 10, with your skills this is way above 10. Beautifully done. And its above 10 indeed. Continue what you're doing mate.. its absolute

*One can endlessly watch three things: how a fire burns, how water flows, and how a craftsman restores an old hand knife !!!! Thank you for the unique work, it is always a pleasure to look at the end result !!!! Regards from Russia !!!*
Excellent work, both with the restoration and the video itself. No music, just the sounds of the sanding and grinder. Your clips are long enough to tell the story but don’t drag, the whole video flowed very nicely. Well done all around!
Never seen one like that, well done fella 👍i have a old Llama silver n horn i think, bayonet blade, also a 70s or 80s ... Maybe Tops automatic , both are fd up, bet you could work wonders on these.
I hoped that you will change that brown grip thingy to something with another color ( i just don't like brown...) But, after seeing how good that looks after the restoration i just can't see it with another =] You are dooing a great job ! 12/10 !
You need to adjust your rating system beyond 10! You regularly surpass that. You are a pleasure to watch.
10 and I agree he really dose
But not a pleasure to hear. The way other channels actually provide a narration to their restoration. No engagement with the audience here.
@@sandgrownun66 One picture is worth a thousand words!

Definitely a 10, you made that look gorgeous. I wonder if that was a military knife, maybe for like a paratrooper or something.
Rating is a solid 10, that knife is a thing of beauty. You did a sweet job on it.
10 is an understatement. obvious it was fairly crudely built years ago even before it was rusted. Now it's a great looking knife. Nice work

Excellent work, both with the restoration and the video itself. No music, just the sounds of the sanding and grinder. Your clips are long enough to tell the story but don’t drag, the whole video flowed very nicely. Well done all around!

10. I'm surprised at how silent the deployment of the blade is too (but still swift). I wonder how it feels in the hand. That's nice.
