you can still see dust falling into the inlet tube when you remove /replace the injection

Its not a bad idea whenever your working on these things to pressure clean them first, all that dust will enter your engine no matter how careful you are, and cam lube on the lobes and followers

Do you have to split the case to replace the chain?

Sounds like it’s in limp mode. Check for engine codes to get an ideal what’s going on.

my pioneer 700 wont go over 10 mph and it sounds like a rev limiter its a 2014 year

Could also be the silly seatbelt safety. Sounds dumb but make sure the seatbelt is on before you start the pioneer otherwise it will limit you to like 12mph.
