If either clutch goes out it will prevent the atv from pulling however 90 percent of the time it’s always the pads on the clutch basket. While you have the primary clutch off check the pads on it also. If the pad is worn and you can see metal then I would replace that one also. Thanks for watching and be sure to like and subscribe.
Why did you cut the video when sliding the centrifugal clutch into the one way bearing? I can’t get mine to slide back together and that’s the part I wanted to see. lol
@ hmm, I’ll have another look this evening. Had the engine down for a crank replacement (cam chain gear was gone), the centrifugal clutch was working well before pulled apart. I’ll have another look tonight and see if I can figure it out.
@crankitt825 I must’ve been tired last night, today it slid right together. lol. Now the issue I’m having after reinstalling the motor is the electronic shift won’t work. The angle sensor beside the shift motor when bolted on will make the 1st gear shift indicator flash 3 times and won’t allow the electronic shift to work. If you unbolt the sensor and twist the angle sensor a 1/16” counter clockwise the electronic shift works perfect. As soon as you clock the bolt holes to line up the indicator in the dash starts blinking. Any clue?

The centrifugal clutch should slide right on. Makes me think something is wrong with your one way bearing. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

ok sounds good. Sounds like to me your one way bearing isn’t closing enough to get the clutch on. Let us know what you find out. Thanks

Sounds like to me the angle sensor is bad.
