I just beat the game now with the True Demon Ending. Honestly after looking at all the endings here, I much prefer the Freedom Ending because as how dark and sad this game is overall, a bit of happiness is very heartwarming to see in that ending

@@cawmusic Do you not think people are brought back in Shijima, for instance? In the reason talks, are the only people in the world going to be the few humans in the vortex world? I do not think so. I think the people from the past world would in some way be brought back, ready to live in this other way. The game is pretty vague about what the endings are actually going to be, but you could easily imagine that in Shijima you go back to the previous world, but everything is changed in accordance with the Shijima Reason.
Well it is happy from the perspective of those that share that ideology And in Theory if you got that ending it is because you wanted a world ruled by that ideology
Are they really Happy Endings? The game never explicitly says so or makes any judgement on that. The Great Will comments on it, yes. But that's because it has it's own Agenda. Think the endings over for a little. I'd argue the only bad Ending is the Demon Ending (Not the true demon ending).
@@Antasma1 I guess that's the beauty of this game. It's much less clear cut about it's implications. From the musical touches each ending received, I see much darker undertones, but you interprete it as Happy Endings and that's fine, too. Personally I feel that... Yosuga has indeed a very strong bitter-sweet undertone. Your would be lover is dead and you're about to create a world where it's likely very lonely at the top. Shijimi starts off with a somewhat bumbly set of guitar strings and your friend died before you could even reach him. Unable to defend his own reason, which speaks a lot of the Reason itself. You are about to create a very weak world, which will crumble easily. Musubi has a very foreboding and sinister organ playing. Hikawa has fulfilled his objectives and the world will never be the same again, you having made yourself his pawn. Of course some of this is conjecture on my part. In my mind these aren't really classic happy endings, but they're definitely great endings and video gaming in general needs more of this story-telling goodness. The only Happy Ending for Naoki in my mind is the Freedom Ending. It's the only ending where he gets everything back the conception took from him and from the rest of the world.
To me, both Freedom and True Demon are two sides of the same coin, and embody the main lesson of the game in different ways. Both in which reject the idea of having to stick to a single, extreme ideal- in Freedom, you decide to give the world nuance, and let it go to how it was, only now that there's better hope for things to turn out better than they were. In True Demon, it's a complete rejection of the ideals and system, and a march to fight for a world free of imposing these ideals onto others. In Freedom, you let the ideals of the world blend into it's best parts combined, and in True Demon, you destroy them entirely.
True I will admit about freedom, however the one downside is that the Conception might or will happen again; if it does, MC might not be around this time to end the next conception.
i like how the yosuga ending is demifiend creating a world of strength but he loses his demonic powers and basically gets run over by a horde of demons
@@aleaiactaest6503 the endings all look the same after the world relights up, I assume its just to leave it to your imagination, everything about the worlds besides the reason behind it is supposed to be interpreted however you like All of them are a little sad outside of the freedom ending though. One is a cutthroat world where you are never safe One is a lonely world where you can never make contact with another person Another is a 'perfect' world where no emotion can be felt The freedom ending is just our world, but presumably with a closer connection to demons
I'm not entirely sure demons continue to exist in any of the worlds after they get reborn. I know the demons did help fight for it, but I don't think anyone aside from the ones that created the world actually get to exist in the new one. They keep mentioning a rebirth. Otherwise, I'm not sure why the main character would have lost his demon form. I think strength doesn't necessarily mean just physical strength either. Chiaki didn't exactly seem super strong before becoming her demon form either. It could be more of a eugenics kind of thing, wanting those with disabilities or unfit genes killed so they don't hold back society. Pretty horrible philosophy, but I didn't really agree with any of the 3 Reasons.
@darrenmacqueen9884 demons would likely still exist because of the mandala system, demi fiend loses his powers presumably because he went against what lucifer wanted, seeing as he keeps them in the demon ending/TDE.
@@oblyx1828 freedom is just restarting the game in a new save file, canonically, its why new game + is called a new cycle, youre just gonna restart it all over
the Freedom Ending is the best in my opinion for one reason, I've heard it asked: "why does God allow evil?" because he gave us Free Will, if we didn't have that we'd be nothing more than machines, dolls, puppets, without thought or reason. sure we as humans are flawed beings, but its those flaws that make us who we are. without the Freedom to choose our path, all that awaits us is a hollow world with no light or shadow. just an empty existence. and that is my opinion.
your story is just doomed to restart like a new save file. Americans got triggered by the imaginary devils and the scary black room that they thought was real and didnt get it was the "least bad" one because it freed everything from eternal endings. But what matters is to not be scary to cringey kids whod get triggered at some supertame persona story for having bad people in it, a story full of crazy demons like smt youll just treat like its teletubies and want some empty messaging thats "feel good" like a saturday morning cartoon even when its flawed too, or ironic, since youd rather virtue signal than a play a game for the fun of it
It's good to see that despite everyone liking the True Demon Ending, you all agree that the Freedom Ending is the best way to continue this story... Nice to see that you guys have humanity within your hearts
From a writing standpoint, Freedom is undoubtedly the best ending. All the reason endings are meh, while demon ending just makes no sense However, there's just something about the concept of TDE that is so absolutely badass, I cant help but love it. Sure, you get extra content and such and that definitely raises it, but Im not talking about that. The fact you enter a sparring match against the Lord of Darkness, Lucifer, in the remnants of a destroyed world where pretty much you, your demons and him are the only beings left breathing, has got to be one of the most sick and epic scenarios any story has ever told me So yeah, my point? Freedom ending is the best from a writing point of view. TDE is best from a goopy-monkey action brain (like mine) point of view lmao
I agree with what Sigismund said. I’d only be on board with TDE if it wasn’t just a “sparing match” with Lucifer and you actually killed him taking his place and going on the path of conquest and destruction yourself (which in turn creates its own cycle that Lucifer scoffed at ironically). Such a minor tweak would have fit more thematically and would have been better than just being Lucifer’s pawn imo (plus would be even more bad ass since you just killed the guy who gave you your power).
@@DarkenRaul1 You don't just become his pawn, you become his first commander in chief. And then it's off to fight YVHV together. How that battle concludes is up to your imagination. It's definitely badass.

I prefer the Freedom/True demon ending but morally, I can’t help but agree with Isamu’s Reason. Musubi would be able to grant everyone their freedom, a life of bliss, everyone’s own reason could come to pass, a world like that wouldn’t be stagnant as some claim, since most wouldn’t just remove the capability for humans to progress, Musubi would grant all their perfect world, if you wished for the world to be just like it was before and to not be able to change it, you could do that in Musubi, if Chiaki wanted to be the strongest in Musubi, she could do it, same with Hikawa. I can’t really disagree with a world where I am truly free
I disagree. Hikawa wants a world of mindless cooperation, Chiaki wants a world of eternal conflict. Both of those require interaction with others, which Musubi rejects.
But the true demon ending kills everyone... And then there is no purpose. Musubi ending is an ending that would end nihilistically, because all humans need to feel purpose and hanging put with dolls that you control sounds more like an artificial relationship. You would feel no purpose to live and eventually will yourself to die. There is a difference between wishes (as-in djinn-wishes) and there being no other people that have free will.
@@jasonenns5076 absolutely agree! Musubi is a world where only you have free will, which I can’t agree with, which is why I said I prefer freedom, where one fights for humanity’s right to stay in the previous world, flawed as it is. I just mean that I can appreciate Musubi as another viable option, even though when you really pay attention it only leads to decay
U can have anything u want in the freedom ending because you have free will, the reasons just force narrow minded ideologies onto everyone in existence You support musubi? Live alone and never go outside, dont socialize with anyone on the internet or in person You support yosuga? Join a boxing club or something and be overly competitive in everything you do You support shijima? Guess you kinda have to force your ideology onto everyone to get what you want here, just be quiet i guess
Funny how the game is about humans creating a moral right and wrong, but the very act of discussing which one is best defines right and wrong to be something external to us.
The Reasons Endings are clearly inspired by Dark City's and the way the city itself is literally created out of nothing. Demifiend before, Demiurge (creator) now. Mr. Murdock yes?
So, these are the endings for SMT3. I finally beat the game and I went with the Freedom Ending as Freedom is the one I agree the most with. Though, I could get behind Isamu's Reason a bit, but people cannot grow without bonds. So nope. Demon Ending is... keeping the Vortex World as is and as the new world. I... kinda get it? But, not really liking it as well. The Vortex World was kinda bland. Wish there were more locations in a sense. True Demon Ending is... OK, that was a pretty rad ending. An Evil Ending definitely. A shame getting Pierce leads to this one. I love the closing short. Though, ultimately Freedom is for me. Still a great game. Though, I don't see myself doing a NG+ with the old viewpoint of NG+. Let me keep my Macca and Magatama too at least! I never want to do the Puzzle Boy mini-game again.
@@wl4810 Your gonna have to explain to me why *the world being in that destroyed state with demons and humans running amok everywhere* is good or even neutral.
@@ariannadravis3934 There is absolutely nothing wrong with not obeying the will of God and go to the road of creation. Life is extinct. The world is dead. And it is what it is. We are traveling in an already dead world. It is not dying. It is dead. Demons can do as they please, for there is nothing to lose to let them do so. There is nothing to lose by not obeying god either. The demon endings are about as evil as aborting an unborn child. The only one who vilifies you for not going through it is, fittingly, the christian God. A being who wishes for humanity to stroke his ego forever and repeats his cycle of creation and destruction eternally, and keeps souls trapped in his scheme. Lucifer, since his defeat in SMT2, understood that humans must be liberated from the influence of demons as they deserve it, as the core of the world. And this, is a war of liberation. From the strongest demon of all, God. All reasons choices fall under his power, because they will perpetuate his will. You have no choice. The freedom ending will not free you, because you will lose. He is the will of the universe itself, no the universe itself, he will not be defeated, because even if he is, he will come back. There is no humanity to save, because they will destroy themselves yet again. The demon ending is a path of both acceptance of the end of things, and liberation from the cycle of the universe.
I see a lot of people hating of the TDE but I see it as rejecting this cycle of destruction and rebirth and trying to break it. Even if you do remake the world others will have to go through the same pain to rebirth it again at the end of it all.
But that's always been the main message of almost all the SMT games. That humanity can over come anything and that the human will/spirit is stronger then any God or Demon. Plus imagine giving up your free will to a crossdressing demon, sacrificing literally every thing, and ultimately failing at the end thanks to the other SMT games existing. Strange Journey showed this perfectly in it's new neutral route. It's a never ending battle.
On top of this, there is no reason to rebuild another world after the previous has ended. A reason ending is, in a way, similar to making a child, and not everyone wants to do that.
@@luca-ou8pv No, he isn't. If he was, he would've achived his goal in SMT2, which is literally to just teleport his believers to the Megido ark and destroy the Chaos alinged people. But if you play SMT2, that clearly didnt happen. So no, he isn't.
Realistically the freedom ending cuz the few bits and pieces we get of naoki character is that he really did care about his friends. Otherwise TDE just because the power granted by lucifer is just that corrupting
I'm so mad I messed up on getting the TDE. I thought as long as you beat the 5th Kalpa before getting to Kagatsuchi, you can get it. Didn't realize you couldn't do the Tower AT ALL until you beat the 5th Kalpa. Such a sick ending. Ah well, thankfully I at least started the 5th kalpa before the tower and got Dante. Also find it funny that Hikawa get's to keep his body while Isamu is just a hat at a grave and Chiaki is a force ghost, despite him being the one that basically all of this lol
I just beat the game for the first time with no guides for endings and can’t believe I got what’s considered the “good” ending. I don’t even know how I did.
technically not really good ending, cuz in that ending the true god will aproach and destroy that world anyway...thats why you get the text at the end, when you do TDE, you become strong enough to say fuck it and go with lucifer to defeat the great will. Which sets itself perfectly up for SMT V's world.
Lucifer warns Demi fiend that YHVH is pissed at him for defying creation, which means that the cycle shall continue and repeat itself once again. Lucifer sees himself in Demi fiend, because they both walked the path of thorns, defying YHVH, causing them to both fall from grace. It's why Lucifer tempts you to join his cause, to put an end to the cycle of creation
Finally finished off Nocturne and got TDE. Came here to see the other endings and seeing the Persona-ass freedom ending is really bizarre considering how the game was the entire time. lol.
i love tde. i roleplayed my fiend to be an ally mainly to demons and as such he would have no reason or desire to remake the world. plus knowing conception could happen again only solidified my choice. if he's gonna fight again he may as well take out the big dog.
Man. They added 2 more endings to the remaster? I dont remember the other 2 in the original if they were. I just remember the endings With reason and the demon king ending.
demon and true demon were added in the maniax rerelease of nocturne in japan, along with the labyrinth of amala and the dante dlc. in the united states we never got the original version, just the maniax rerelease. the hd remaster is this version as well.
Something tells me it was only Aradia that allowed her to remember, as well as Lucifer for the MC. I doubt Isamu remembers because he talks to MC like he's still his friend, even though he ruined his reason and killed him
@@bruhed1117 Aradia is a false god yes, but she is only false in terms of not originating from the universe that the conception took place in. She sought to use the creation as a way to rebirth herself. She is very much real, just not native.
If there is someone attempting to get the true demon ending pls clear the 5th kalpa. I didn't realise I need to clear that when I am already in the endgame
The true demon ending to me feels like they could have had an extra scene in the remaster of Lucifer and Demifiend defeating YHVH, with Lucifer Transcending and Demifiend bidding him goodbye as he heads off into the new world born from the conflict. As he walks off Lucifer says there'll be another conception but this time it will be different. This way they could tie into SMT5, that game is really the only one I'm disappointed wasn't just outright called a direct sequel to Nocturne.
@@justaguy2985 I would rather consider it fanservice. V is inspired by Nocturne, and references it, but no more than that. There are too many contradictions to actually follow from Nocturne.
agree but if you read what Luci tells you at the end, it says the great adversary will come for you aka YHVH or probably his servants will come find and kill out.
I still don't understand the aftermath of TDE sure no more rebirth cycle but who is the "true enemy" they mention and what are demons supposed to do from now on?
Depends on the answers you give to the reason bearers A true speedrun would have you either go Regular Demon Ending, Shijima Ending or Musubi ending, given that they all skip a boss
The freedom ending isn't good because it's just postponing the conception until later. Someone else will just recreate the vortex world and someone else will have to bring a reason to kagutsuchi.
I just wish the non TDE endings had as much content so there is more reason to get them. But I guess that is the point of the old man enticing you to reach the depths of amala
The other endings can also be gotten with all the extra content. The only thing you lose out on is Demi-Fiend with Pierce and the Pierce Girimehkala. You just have to not go down the elevator after killing Metatron.
So, I only played the True Demon Ending myself, but according to this, it seems you still fight and kill Chiaki and Isamu even when you join their sides? Why? Why don't they get to live to see their own Reasons come to pass?
You don't fight Isamu, he just gets killed by Chiaki. The reason you fight Chiaki in Yosuga is because her she wants to find out which of the two are the strongest.
I haven't play other ending I want to know does it force you to fight there own reason boss? Like if you choose yosuka do you still have to fight chiaki?
I did the true demon ending on my first run so the new game + can I still use the monsters I got from them if I wanna pursue the freedom or other ending?
Yes, the game explicitly says the compendium Carrie's over and if you 100 percent it in your first run you get a half-off discount for all retrieval charges going forward.
How is freedom "Omega Virgin"? I understand Chiaki being "Virgin", but freedom? How is TDE "Omega Chad"? Is killing the world "Omega Chad"? How is an authoritarian world considered "chad"? TDE is the "Omega virgin" ending because you can't bang someone. Freedom is the "Omega Chad" because you can bang everyone.
@@jasonenns5076 Is it really an authoritarian 'world' if there's no real world? Entire reason for Lucifer sending you down that path is pretty much to destroy the universe (unsure if TDE implies every universe dies or just Nocturne's universe/"timeline") so after the Great Will is gone, wouldn't that mean literally everything in that timeline ceases to exist? Idk man, pretty based. Edit: TDE implies "time" no longer exists too so doubly fucked.
@@jasonenns5076 You can't be authoritarian if the concept of reality itself no longer exist. TDE Demi Fiend basically destroys everyone that tries to impose their will on the world (imposing freedom is still authoritarian and Omega virgin because you are an authoritarian that ignore himself) and then kill an avatar of the Great Will because he is the only reason someone would be able to impose their will on the universe. He then destroys reality because fuck everyone. Everyone including Kagatsushi keeps saying that he will never be able to hold a reason of his own because he is a demon and should not be able to forge his own path. This is reason enough to kill them all and create a world beyond what the Great Will himself intended. TDE Demi fiend is the Omega Chad because he spits in God's face and make his own reality with blackjack and hookers despite being forbidden from doing so by the laws of nature.
Just finished my first playthrough of SMT 3, did the Chronicle version and went TDE. A fun ending for sure, but I wanted to come and see the others. As I had guessed Freedom is your "good" ending, and while hardcore fans may scoff at the idea of any form of connection with SMT 5, NDE seems to fit that bill. "Real" Tokyo becomes Da'at and The Great Will creates "New Tokyo" in spite of Lucifer. Person who wrote the wiki entry feels that SMT 5 works from TDE, but with the Being of Creation dead, I'd like to see how that happens.
I generally like to go for the demonic endings because that is kinda what is unique about SMT. I usually like to do the ending or route in a game that let's you see the most content and that is True Demon ending here! I like getting to kill all the gods under my demonic horde!

All three reasons get the short end of the stick by the community, as you can see in the comments. Musubi has it's fans, but i agree that Shijima is my favorite ending in the game and maybe one of my favorites in the whole series.
@@stealthy9156 As I see it, Shijima is based Buddhism. In Buddhism the problem in life is suffering, and the cause of suffering is desire. That is why Hikawa wants to get rid of it. Shijima is not eliminating emotion, but desire. This really means that the change in the world is largely internal. People are going about their lives, doing work, going to school, being with friends and family and so on. People still have their individual traits, and they each have their own occupation. People are different from each other in Shijima, as seen when Hikawa explains “Lights that spin quietly-sometimes bright, sometimes dim-all pulsating in perfect harmony”. That they spin quietly means that they are not in focus, whereas others may shine more brightly other times. I think it is a beautiful world that would be promised to humans. What is the point of ambition? When people become a little better at something, they become happy, but only for a short time. They return to how they felt soon enough. This happens until people die. This growth in the end does not bring lasting satisfaction, because people hunger for further improvement, further wealth, further control. The world has been developing science, art, war, economy and more. What has this gotten us? Barely anything. We are no more satisfied than hunter gatherers from tens of thousands of years ago. We need to be able to be satisfied with ourselves, just as we are. Whether you are skilled, average or weak, you can find satisfaction regardless. That is why Hikawa says that “Rather than blaze a path of ruin, we should lay down our fires for the world’s sake. By doing so, a life of repose would in return be promised to us.” We do not know what will make us satisfied but the world does, and satisfaction will be granted to us when we lose our desire. Given all this, Shijima is the best ending.
@@spongbobsquarepants3922 you're a corny mf let me tell you that much. I still don't agree with you and find shijima a repulsive idea. I may as well be an ant at that point, without the part where other ants might tie me to the ceiling and continuously force feed me to use me as a living food storage, because ants are cruel animals. If you want to be like that have fun, I have no problem with being happy with what I am and have, but trying to grow is so much more enjoyable and fulfilling it makes the other option pale in comparison and whoever takes the right to do that away from people is someone whose narrow mindedness has overwhelmed any reasonable objection. From my understanding of Buddhism inner peace is something someone strives to reach (ironic) and chooses for oneself, and is never imposed. So imposing it is inherently contradictory
@@stealthy9156 I do not think Shijima would be as negative and communist as you seem to think. It would be very much like normal, except there would be a lasting peace in everything we do. Maybe you do have a great time in the world. That is great that you are making things work for you. But so many people are not, and are suffering tremendously under the pressure of having to "grow" all the time and perform perfectly in everything. In buddhism, the buddha helps people out with enlightening people, even if they are not trying to do so. I do not see what is wrong with that. After they are enlightened, they are glad to be. I do not think of the reasons as forcing anything on anyone, unless you would also say that the freedom ending imposes certain values on people.
I like True Demon ending The World is terrible as it is, The best way to cleanse it is to Embrace the Darkness within one self to Rule over the Evils of the world
It's funny: Kagutsuchi appreciate all reasons, where everyone is forced to do a solid purpose (fighting for all eternity, be alone for the rest of there life, don't have feelings and no reason to live). But reject the one reason, where no one has to follow any roles and making their own decisions. Overall no reason-ending has a stabil and long future, in the end everything gets destroyed. It's weird how despite the evil the Reasons did, the Reason endings are portrayed as happy endings
Well it is happy from the perspective of those that share that ideology
And in Theory if you got that ending it is because you wanted a world ruled by that ideology
@@Mayhzon The tone says happy (despite the bittersweetness of your friends being dead)
@@Antasma1
I guess that's the beauty of this game.
In the true demon ending, despite it being Lucifer's favorite ending, he reminds you of the consequences of your actions unlike the reason endings
I know True demon ending is supposed to be a badass ending but I think Freedom is the best ending of them all.

@@darrenmacqueen9884 TDE was in the original release, what are you talking about?

@@aleaiactaest6503 the endings all look the same after the world relights up, I assume its just to leave it to your imagination, everything about the worlds besides the reason behind it is supposed to be interpreted however you like
All of them are a little sad outside of the freedom ending though.
One is a cutthroat world where you are never safe
One is a lonely world where you can never make contact with another person
Another is a 'perfect' world where no emotion can be felt
The freedom ending is just our world, but presumably with a closer connection to demons
Yea definitely buildings rising as whatever world you choose is being created

From a writing standpoint, Freedom is undoubtedly the best ending. All the reason endings are meh, while demon ending just makes no sense
However, there's just something about the concept of TDE that is so absolutely badass, I cant help but love it. Sure, you get extra content and such and that definitely raises it, but Im not talking about that. The fact you enter a sparring match against the Lord of Darkness, Lucifer, in the remnants of a destroyed world where pretty much you, your demons and him are the only beings left breathing, has got to be one of the most sick and epic scenarios any story has ever told me
So yeah, my point? Freedom ending is the best from a writing point of view. TDE is best from a goopy-monkey action brain (like mine) point of view lmao
TDE would be the best if it wasn't for you simply becoming Lucifer's pawn
and thus YHVH tool
heh who cares about writing, i just to punch god in the face with lucifer.

Basically the matrix

No love for the Reason of Shijima? I think the world of silent harmony sounds pretty nice in light of the loud, chaotic world we live in currently.
All three reasons get the short end of the stick by the community, as you can see in the comments. Musubi has it's fans, but i agree that Shijima is my favorite ending in the game and maybe one of my favorites in the whole series.
Shijima is a world where personal ambition is pretty much dead. I'd rather not
@@stealthy9156
As I see it, Shijima is based Buddhism.
By doing so, a life of repose would in return be promised to us.”
We do not know what will make us satisfied but the world does, and satisfaction will be granted to us when we lose our desire.
I wonder who's the one speaking in those final texts in the freedom and true demon endings
Espetacular
I beat the game and got the regular demon ending, 91 hours well spent but to end in disappoint
I would have chosen Freedom, but there's no way I could go finish the game without going through amala and kicking Lucifer's ass, so TDE it was.
Kinda lost with each ending I only know the True Demon Ending. Can someone tell me the other endings
Well now we have an actual ending to the True demon ending 😂
?

@@TheRawyan is it confirmed to be a sequel?
@@Crabo99 They mention the conception, and lots more hints towards the possibility
@@TheRawyan but how did the world get recreated After the TDE
what is shijimas ending i dont get it. no more greed? seems similar to Musubi ending
Great game
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I like True Demon ending
The World is terrible as it is, The best way to cleanse it is to Embrace the Darkness within one self to Rule over the Evils of the world
Of course a Persona fan would say something so stupid
@@jesusramirezromo2037 damn 😭
i like your point of view
It's funny: Kagutsuchi appreciate all reasons, where everyone is forced to do a solid purpose (fighting for all eternity, be alone for the rest of there life, don't have feelings and no reason to live). But reject the one reason, where no one has to follow any roles and making their own decisions. Overall no reason-ending has a stabil and long future, in the end everything gets destroyed. In the end, the Demon and the True Demon ending are the best solution to end the eternal suffering of mankind.
Just beat the game and got the freedom ending. I fw with it but personally prefer the demon ending and TDE. Especially TDE. I already knew I didn't want to align myself with any of the reasons the people behind them were all annoying as fuck throughout the game. Especially Isamu. Dude's 6 ft under talking to me about a new world. Like dawg you are DEAD 💀
I think that the TDE is the Mega asshole ending, the Reason ending of Musubi or the freedom ending should be canon.
*Change my mind*
Don’t really see how TDE is an asshole ending or how Yosuga is law but ok
Yosuga is law? Tde is mega asshole? You need help
oh sorry, I wrote it all bad, I tried to say that Musubi or the freedon ending should be canon because the TDE are tecnicaly a bad ending because you destroy the world
@@jackour8167 my bad

Unfortunately, you can only get Pierce on TDE. No Musubi this time ig
That only actually matters against Noah, and he just takes a long time to beat, he is not actually difficult. You also have to reach level 80 to get Pierce, something that you do not get to organically. That takes grinding, luckily not for long, but still grinding.
@@spongbobsquarepants3922 You don't have to reach level 80 to get Pierce, that's Freikugel you're thinking of (which can't be bought until you've defeated Ahriman and Noah anyway). Pierce is automatically added to Marogareh's skill list, so you just have to level up once with that one to get it.
@@yep9462 You're right. However, it is only helpful against noah with Freikugel.
@@yep9462Actually, you can skip Noah and get the Magatama with Freikugel lol
I know freedom ending is basic, but I really like it.
Freedom>Musubi>TDE>Shijima> Yosuga=Demon ending.
Is it just me or does the true demon ending totally set up for the Demi fiends fight with the Nahobino?
It IS the canon ending.
@@yuriski1 No it is not. There is no canon in SMT. Most of the games can easily be seen as standalone, no matter how fanatics try to setup a timeline that connects every game in the franchise. The games share ideas, and sometimes reference each other, but that has nothing to do with canon.
I'm glad this game released at the right era. If this game release nowadays, I believe it will get a lot of criticism since the world theory were too strong implicated.
