Hey everyone!! So far this whole RUclips thing has been a blast and I'm loving how warm and kind this community is thanks to you guys! Really appreciating the film suggestions, comments and support. PLEASE let me know if you have any suggestions as far as how to make these videos any better or if there are any pro editing tips ya'll got. Constantly trying to grow and get better at this. Love you all!!! 😀
@@Vlad.Larionov I want to be completely genuine and myself, but I imagine as I get better at this and more used to the camera, I'll likely show more etc. Thanks.
As a petrolhead, this is one of the greatest movies of all time. You don't have to like cars or racing at all to enjoy it, but for those of us that do it's like a love letter to us. We pick up on the little details like the old drivers' names and the racing jargon. We appreciate the amount of time it must have taken to get all those priceless race cars that are in museums or private collections. It's plain to us that this movie was made by people who love cars as much as we do. I know that petrolheads are a dying breed, most young people don't see cars as anything more than a mode of transportation. Stuff like this movie, Rush, the Goodwood Festival of Speed, they all show us petrolheads that there are still other people like us. I've found it's near impossible to explain to "normal" people why we like cars so much, because it's really just a feeling that we get from the noise, the sensation of driving, or even just the beauty of them. Someone who's not a petrolhead can experience the same things and not feel anything at all, and then not understand why we love cars because they don't get the feelings that make us do so.
I get so fascinated by anything that others show an incredible love/appreciation for. Ford v Ferrari was one of those films that makes the ordinary person for a brief moment love cars, even if we could never understand. The way you talk about it also makes me more curious. It's a shame I'm stuck in the heart of a busy city using public transport. I'm glad filmmakers still care about telling stories like this so that you (and petrolhead's in general) get to see what you love translated onto the big screen for the public.
This years' 24 Hours of Le Mans (the 100 year anniversary no less!) just finished 6 hours ago and Ferrari won it for the first time since 1965! It was their return to the top Sportscar class as a manufacturer after 50 years and they won at the first attempt!
Peter Miles (Ken Miles' son) consulted on the movie and his input helped Cristian Bale develop his character portrayal of Ken Miles. The scene with Shelby selling the same car multiple times was so classically "Carroll Shelby". He was a real con artist who would pull anything to try to build his dream, but everyone loved the man.
Henry Ford II's father was Edsel Ford. Henry was his grandfather, he mentioned that when they first showing him talking to all the employees at the plant. From what I've gathered on other reactions on here is that Edsel would be all for making an racing car and chasing Ferrari while Henry would be more careful with extra money and wouldn't risk it on something like that.
Not just fast for 1960’s but getting a car to 220mph is still impressive and only a handful of cars can do it. Up to 200mph can be done with brute force but it takes engineering to go any faster. Not to mention braking & turning at those speeds.
the greatest moment of this whole story is when they fight and Shelby picks up a can and realizes that would actually hurt Miles so he puts it down for something softer!
I love how insightful you are with your reactions. It's going to be awesome watching your channel grow. On another note, have you seen the movie Watcher from 2022? I watched this week and I think we would all love to see your reaction. It's a psychological thriller, and that ending. It'll blow your mind. It certainly did mine.
@@thecocoacouch perfect...and another thing, just do some research about formula one b4 watching rush if you don't know about f1...watching the movie later will be better
I like your reaction, how you actually watch the film. My recommendation for you is a film that is considered the best film of the 90s and is universally regarded as a masterpieces, and only ONE channel has reacted to it: J.F.K. , by Oliver Stone.
Good reaction. We watch you react to our favorite movies. We like to see and hear our favorite parts that make the cut for show. However, it is very hard to watch. When your reactions are 2 to 5 times LOUDER than the parts that you overlay. We can't hear our favorite parts we want to see. and you react to. Hope, maybe you can do something about this. Maybe watch and listen to your videos. From a different source to see if you understand what I mean. Try to listen to the movie part. This not meant to be disrespectful to you. Regards, Rollerball

"You promised me the drive...not the win."
There's alot of pathos in that. We're gauranteed the pursuit of happiness, not happiness itself.

This is how I feel about Moneyball - you don't have to care at all about Baseball.. yet that movie captures your attention

the Le mans officials came up with that rule on the spot, according to Shellby, they couldn't have three winners
Dang. Makes it feel even worse 😭
AYYYY, its you again, with another great reaction :) thanks and keep up the great content
Thank you!!! 🍻
It’s crazy how Ford has only entered Le Mans twice, and both times beat Ferrari
I know!!! 👌
Four wins in a row.
Im a car mechanic and yeah its pretty impressive the speeds they were hitting in the 1960s
Looked pretty fast for 60’s 😎
@@thecocoacouch whats funny is they aint much faster today, just more fuel efficent maybe

Leo Mehl was not a bad guy in real life. Movie’s often need an antagonist, so the decision was made to make Mehl the antagonist for movie purposes.
Great reaction!
Thank you!! 😁

I'm assuming you have seen men in black, also i wonder if you will ever do a tv show. Alot more of a commitment though.
Yeah that’s the thing hey. I’d like to if the show floats my boat. I’m currently doing the Chernobyl mini series. First couple episodes out on Friday.
