Spinach isn't a traditional Rwandan dish. I'm pretty sure you ate isombe (what she called "dodo" which is the specific type of leafy veggie), which is mashed cassava mixed with certain seasonings, and usually mixed with peanut butter/flour. That's why she asked if any of you were allergic to peanuts. It looks similar to spinach but not at all the same
