Hey Mark, I've been following you since the longest time. From where u began and where you are now, it makes me so happy to see the evolution! Wish you all the very best Mark!
Amogh Koranmath, The first video I ever watched of Mark, was one he made of his old Osprey Talon backpack he purchased for airline carry-on. That was many many years ago😀
Mark you're so much fun to watch! You're always so positive and engaged with everyone you meet! I also love that you're in Africa!! So many food/travel youtubers seem to go all over the world but never go to any countries in Africa! Thank you so much for going and introducing us to so many amazing experiences and dishes!! Mark, You have opened my eyes to the many places you have visited. I never gave some locations a 2nd thought but now I want to immerse myself in the cultures of every location possible.
Mark- I immensely was engulfed in assiduously watching this eclectic, phenomenal, and cultural Rwandan food tour. What I ascertained about your Rwandan' s guest and restaurant proprietors were their immense hospitality, congeniality, communal and subtle elegant demeanor. Georgie, I surmised his wife, Madeta, and the host gentleman were very welcoming, warm, informative and friendly. To observe the aerial splendid Rwandan terrain from a cinematic perspective was stunning. And- I absolutely love the red decor of The Piano Bar. The akabenz, somosas, grilled tilapia, cassava leaves, and tea, milk, and the peanut butter banana stew looked delectable. It was a honour to see your lovely wife and handsome whimsical Micah. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS RWANDAN FOODIE TOUR. GRACIAS AMIGO SENOR MARK WEINS. YOU ARE AWESOME!
What surprised me was how well built their buildings were and how green it was. The homes had many green bushes and trees trimmed in their yards. Much more established towns then what I would have expected compared to the other countries. Loved this video with the people you were with, friendly well informed conversation about the history of the food. Well done as always. Micah is growing fast and is so cute. God Bless all of you.
It's always been that way!!!! Lol! People need to visit most countries to get good perspective on how it is, rather than taking your world view from news media, which is 100% biased or intent on showing you EXACTLY what they want you to see :) Rwanda has ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT!! :)
ERIC BINEY Please don't be hard with me, Mark's last videos that I have been following, if you go back over the last few were shack towns with little green vegetation. So when this video came there was a stark contrast between the areas. I follow countries all over the world and yes, I live in the West but the facts are the facts, some towns are the poorest but Mark shares the wonderful people in these regions. Its was only a statement about this area being so green and established, I know many areas are established. Don't be so judgemental when you don't know me.

Hi Mark, I would like to contribute on Akabenzi (Mercedes Benz) Pork meat. This type of meat was not named Benz because The Benz as the brand is number one❌ Now here is where the story come from: there one place in Rwanda far in south-west, it called Rusizi District and back in time when we had 12 provinces the place was Called CYUNGUGU and it was one of 12 provinces. So where the park meat and Benz meet? This particular place (Cyangugu) was the first place to introduce pork meat in Rwanda back then, and the small place (Village/center) where they use to have barbecue for the pork meat, the they was a Broken car and abandoned Benz brand right on the same point where the barbecue was, and the people from that place after testing how delicious was the pork meat, started to direct/allocate their friends according to where the abandoned Mercedes Benz car was parked, slowly by slowly the Pork meat turned into AKABENZI (Benz) end of story.

The tidiness of the Rawandans really stands out.
I love the the fact that you don’t just sample new things , you actually go all in and eat ❤️ along with giving us a description of the food and a honest review . I enjoy watching your content . Thank you
I visited Kigali in 2019, what a culture? I also appreciated local food
Thanks for sharing. Such a cool story
Thanks.

@@irakizacedrick4587 it's funny how Africans are racist among themselves but will be quick to play victim if segregated by other races.
