Is there a way to pull out the back of the backpack? If that makes sense. Mine seems sunken in, and visible study plastic pole is visibly running up and down the left (and I think) right side of the backpack (in the back). Every picture and video I've been, the back/shoulder straps area are pushed out and looks like a normal backpack, not deep/sunken in.
I have a 13” MacBook and even with the packing cubes I feel it too tight for the screen, what I do now is Osprey + 1 small from Nordace for electronics
it's legit, mine have also 1 zipper but on the top i can close it with an fabric, this is the latest. the older one has 2 zippers but only one with an latch, so you can only open it with it. this zipper without latch is only to close it with a lock
@@TheAbleDelta I think I may have figured it out. On each shoulder strap on the front, not the back, there are two female side buckles tucked away. I think it's to attach another day pack to the front.
For Ryanair, it will fit as your larger cabin bag, if you pay for Priority which gives you an overhead bag and an under seat bag. If you max it out, it will be over, but as the only dimension over is compressible, if you don't overfill it, you should be fine with them. I usually fly with Ryanair as they always seem to be the only airline going where I need to get to, so I don't know about others.

Thank You!
does the top compartment fit a quietcomfort 45 headset?
My laptop size is 15 length x 10 width inch. Is it able to put into the size laptop compartment ?

It says it fits a 16 inch laptop, so if it's that size or less (if you don't know what your one is, measure it diagonally).
I'm a 5'7'' (1.70m) woman: would you still recommend the Fairview 40l instead of the Fairpoint?
Im also considering as i have the same height! Did you purchase any??
I’m 5’7 and got the farpoint !
@@jbthebest453do you have farpint size S/M or M/L?
I'm wondering the same, but am 5'9".
@@jbthebest453did the Fairview not fit?
Mine only has 1 zip on the laptop compartment.. did I get a faulty product?
How long ago did you get it? They update their product every few years.

Waste of money
There are two tucked buckles on the shoulder straps and I have no idea what they are for. Cant find info anywhere.
Not 100% sure what you are referencing, but I think it is the load lifters that attach from the straps to the top

These are meant for Farpoint Fairview Daypack backpack. So you can attach it and carry as an extra small bag on your front.
@@mandolina6280 Yes! This is the correct answer thanks I finally figured it out through some research...
Does anyone have problems with carry on with Osprey Farpoint 40L Backpack as it is slighty to large to fit EU Carry on regulations?
It varies airline to airline. For example it's too big for Air-china long haul as a carry on.
