Modified S197 Seats Inside My Sn95 Mustang

I love my S197 seats but the backyard mounting trick has failed. I'm going to try my hand at welding to see if I can fix it.
I'll be using a cheap Amazon Tig welder for the first time. I have no experience welding so please leave a tip or two.
