Hi Marc! It does sound overwhelming. Life can be so tough. You are in my thoughts even now. I am a 74 year old female who came to love Scottish Highland coos because of your RUclips site. It made it possible for me to locate a Scottish Highland mini bull calf named Rip I have fallen in love with. Tami, his owner brings him to my senior independent living facility grassy yard for a private visit almost every month. I have adopted him as my therapy coo. He loves strawberries, watermelon, grapes, but his most favorite snack is pumpkin without preservatives or spices. I brush him and meditate. He gives me great comfort. A moment when all is right with the world. Then I take him for a short walk on his lead using my rollator walker. Thank you for giving this joy to me.❤❤❤❤

Merry Christmas and brighter New Year. I know what it is like when our loved animals get older and have issues. And then its our friends, loved ones, relatives and our own health. We have to go at it a day at a time, try to finds something to laugh at. Don't let it weigh you down, for that limits our ability to deal with challenges. Get some rest, the big boys do! Look at things with a rested body and mind. Challenges are easier to respond to.

I know the feeling. I spent Chrismas alone, no gas for heat, no electric for light, but my lot rent got paid and my neighbor donated some food. And praise God I bought enough kerosine to keep all four kerosine lanterns lit until early spring! 😊
