    Learn how to transform dollhouse furniture using simple techniques. I glued lace and string to a simple piece of mass produced furniture to make it look fancy. This technique makes the furniture look like it has carving and added detail.
    You could use trim, stickers, beads, and other items with dimensions to get a similar look. You're only limited by your imagination.
    I have been toiling away learning how to film and edit videos for RUclips. I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures to Dollar Tree Furniture makovers and easy DIY accessories. I also have a large Harry Potter build planned for 1" scale.

    this is so cool, RUclips algorithm has finally brought me somewhere awesome.
    I was wondering what made you choose fabric-tac. I would've thought to use Gorilla Glue so that the adhesive would stick to the wood better and Fabric-tac is usually used for fabric-on-fabric gluing. When gluing, do you want your lace piece to feel fully saturated with glue? Or more just tacky on the back?

    • @queencityminis
      @queencityminis  2 года назад +1

      Awesome! So glad you found my channel.
      I started using Fabritac recently because Darkest Raven Designs was always using it for everything and I wanted to try it out. It holds quickly and bonds many materials. I've used it to attach fabric to multiple surfaces but I've also used it for gluing plastic to plastic, glass to wood and cardboard to cardboard. It's quickly become my new favorite glue. It can be a bit stringy but I really like how quickly it holds.
      Fabritac is designed to avoid saturating fabric and showing through the front. I applied a small amount on the back making sure to cover all the surfaces of the lace so it would be firmly attached.
      Wood glue takes a much longer time to set so I'm not sure how well it would work. If you try it, let me know!
      Thank you
