Great video yet again! Seems like they have taken time and thought of everything, from the mounting solutions to integration props to Elgato. Also looks super clean in your setup! 🔥
Thank you so much! Elgato really does put thought into the design and functionality, and I'm glad that shines through in my setup. Appreciate your support! 🔥🙌
Great video! I’m so excited for mine. When I placed my order 2 weeks ago, estimated delivery time was Dec 5th. I just went to check my order status and now it’s March! So if anyone wants this, they should order asap!
Thanks for the love on the video! Bummer about the delay, but hey, good things come to those who wait, right? 🌟 And yep, for anyone eyeing the Elgato Prompter, order fast or you might be in for a long wait! ⏳🚀💥
I'm glad to hear the video was helpful to you! If you have any more questions or need further information about the Elgato prompter or any other products, feel free to ask. Don't forget to subscribe for more content like this. Thanks for watching!
It's great to hear that you've pre-ordered the Elgato Prompter! I'm sure it will be a valuable addition to your content creation setup, especially given your focus on video production and streaming tech. Once you start using it in December, it would be interesting to see how it integrates into your workflow and possibly enhances your video quality and scripting process. Keep your audience updated with your experiences and tips once you get hands-on with it. Happy creating! 🎥🌟🎮
Hi there! Great breakdown and great video, thanks. I'm thinking about getting one but worried it's a wee bit too small for my project - mostly I'll be standing 3 to 6 feet from camera and shooting long form content - think it's good at that distance or should I think about something bigger?
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found the instructions helpful! 😊 As for the gold knobs on the Stream Deck, I got them from elgato website - they add a nice touch to the setup, don't they?
Do you have to use a special profile picture with the camera ? Does the additional screen of the teleprompter makes the image darker ? Thanks for the help :)
Is it safe to mount the prompter directly on any camera lens using the step up rings? I noticed in the manual that it says "do not mount on motorized lenses". What does this mean? Are all modern lenses not motorized these days?
How would you use it in a production environment- considering replacing it with magicue. I have an assistant to operate with talent...can I do this realtime?
I purchased a 16" Teleprompter all metal for 140.00 with the ability to accept monitors of up to 16" by 10.2" . I also bought a 15.6" monitor with 1000 nits capabilities and the ability to flip the image on Vertical, Horizontal, and Vertical + horizontal axis all built into the monitor. No need to go through an HDMI Flip Box or Software. I wanted to use the Teleprompter as a normal working monitor when not Live Streaming etc... Also normal monitors produce 400 to 700 nits and appear a bit dull after hitting the two-way mirror... with 1000 nits the image appears nice bright and sharp ... cheers amigos !!!
How heavy is the actual unit? Is there a possibility that this could effect the lens mount of the camera after using it for awhile since all of it’s weight is hanging on the end of the lens?
I'm late to the party for this. I just found out about it a couple days ago. I have one of the old ones that you have you use with a phone or tablet, but it is huge and heavy and clunky; and after the first time it tipped over and sent my camera tumbling to the floor I vowed 'never again'. This looks more promising, much lighter, and much better designed than the old metal ones. But it is already out of stock everywhere.
Half of the other answer is convenience and testings for future videos. I have over 5 mics. Shure sm7b, sennheiser mkh 416, wave dx, and handful of other lapel mics. I’m always doing something different.
Totally understand looking for cost-effective solutions! Just keep in mind the Elgato Prompter offers smooth scrolling, easy integration with your setup, and convenient features like remote control. It's all about what best fits your needs and workflow. Happy creating! 😊🎥
@@Blasten So does the scroll wheel on my $5 RGB ping gamer mouse bought on ebay :-) And I already own that. But the reality is, I really don't have anything more to say to humanity. This species can get bent!
Haha, sounds like your RGB mouse is the real MVP here! 🐭✨ And hey, if you ever change your mind about humanity, remember, the Elgato Prompter is perfect for sharing those 'I'm back, humanity!' speeches. Until then, enjoy your intergalactic mouse adventures! 🚀🌌
Love the camera integration. And that they include all your lens rings. 🙌🏽
super versitile

I'm saving to buy this prompter. I love it and believe it will help me in my on camera presentation.
its so good to use. did yours come in?
@@Blasten I hv not ordered it. I would need to order from Amazon as our local companies here in Nigeria don't sell it. Thank you
Solid tips and review! Pre-ordered mine so hopefully I get to start using this in December.🤙🏽

this video was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Specifically how to attach the facecam to the prompter. Thank you so much!
Heck yeah! Glad it was helpful

Great review my guy! 🔥
Thanks so much for the support! I'm glad you enjoyed the review!
How would you use it in a production environment- considering replacing it with magicue. I have an assistant to operate with talent...can I do this realtime?
you would need a laptop or computer and add script into the software

Which monitor did you buy?

Good question, Ill search for the weight. Unless you are constantly abusing it, I cant see it breaking a camera
I’m gonna buy it. I’m glad they did this.
Elgato really did a fantastic job with this one. I think you're going to be very pleased with it. let me know if you have questions later on 👌
Thank you, Do the prompter software support RTL text?
I dont believe so

Its great. keep looking on twitter. elgato announces when they are launching again
Game changer!
It really is!!
wait, so with a wide angle 16mm Sigma it would not work?
it does work. its what i used
2:30 for anyone looking for the DSLR lens ring sizes
Or simply google it ✅
perfect
Soooooooo cool
thanks, its super usefull and the new updates are nice
8:26 why does everyone *hold* small clip-on mics these days?
Sounds better when the audio source is closer.
@@Blasten then why not get a mic that is designed for close range work, and put it on a stand so you don’t need to hold it?

I'm Ron Burgundy? 🤣🤣😂
😵💫😂
Instead of spending $279 bucks, I think I'll just use Wordpad and the scroll wheel on my mouse...

Bro this guy spent all that money to get a clean setup but lacks the most important thing: talent.
Go for it.
Why you hating?
@Paintballerz100 his insecurities are showing. It’s all good. He’s just projecting.
