Hi TA, I really enjoy your videos! After watching this particular one, I decided to invest around £510 in the Elgato teleprompter and the Facecam Pro. However, I’ve noticed that the Facecam Pro seems to be picking up the color of the teleprompter while I’m recording. I followed all the installation instructions carefully, but I’m concerned that my audience might notice the teleprompter's appearance in my videos. How can I make sure they don't catch on to me using it, especially since the color seems to reflect in the footage?
The wide angle lens on the Facecam Pro makes your hands look larger than your head when you are waving them around in front of you. Stick to a standard lens on your Canon.
The picture quality difference is huge. Your hands look awkward, your skin tones are off (pink?), and there is a slight smudge instead of sharpness. If you had not gotten this product for free, would you have advertised it so heavily?
