In this vlog I check out the ride offering and take you along with some on ride POV's! I’m blown away by that “Corsair” ride. Flying around unsecured in that cage at the end of the swing ship is shocking, and reminds of those boat swing rides you can get at some fun fairs. Anyway, looks a nice funfair and great location. Shame that great looking ghost train didn’t deliver. Hotel Psycho still takes some beating in my opinion probably the best in the world. Great pictures of the Effel Tower. Love your enthusiasm for these fairs and vlogs Shawn. Nice vlog👌😉

Now that you’ve done the stand-up pirate ship, you could seek out Alcatraz, a stand-up flying carpet, and also Sky Lab, a stand-up Enterprise type ride. I think they’re both found in Spanish fairs.
We have just had a fair in Vilanova (Spain) and we had a stand up pirate ship and a stand up magic carpet - as mentioned. Very popular rides.
We’ll definitely have to visit a Spanish funfair at some point!

I’ve been watching the channel for a long time and I have to say, besides laughing at Charlotte getting soaked on Hyperion I haven’t laughed as much as I did on these last 2 vlogs ever before.
When the air time on the power coaster caught you by surprise in Jardin and now on the stand up pirate ship 🤣🤣🤣

That pirate ship looks crazy the only way I can think of that you don't go flying is sitting down and holding on really tight I love how half way through you just said there's the eiffel tower while flying to the top of the cage fare enough you still wanna see the view!!

That Miami wave(as you call it) is the 2.0 Miami trip from kmg.
There are just 5 with those restraints(2 are old models fitters with the new seats)
Other extra's are aqua fun and they can tip the seats forwards

That are not social distancing creens in the Booster. Those are Scream protectors. It is the only way the Booster MaxXx is allowed to open. Pre Covid they had those installed as well in order to run at this fair.

WHAAAAAAT! BLIMEY HOW has that one heck of a mad pirate ship ride with stand up cages on the far ends even pass as the legal health and safety precautions? That’s ridiculous I’m surprised they’re allowing these dangerous rides attractions to be at these fun parks... words cannot describe to sum up that diabolical ride, I was actually worried for your safety life Shawn, it seemed to be an epic endless long ride glad your ok 👌🏻made it out in one piece, you looked all shocked 😱😱😱😱

Well that did not disappoint, been looking forward to this video since you mentioned Le Corsair... never ever hear you wishing for a cycle to end, always a first and at least you did come off in one piece, surprised no padding above you as that would be my biggest concern too. Very much enjoyed and I actually thought good value for location and cycles especially compared to Expensive Edinburgh at Christmas

Shaun.....you are supposed to jump as the cage reaches negative g. You hop when it swings the other way.....gives you 1 to 3 seconds of literally floating in mid air time. But DO NOT let go of the cage while you are doing it.....sister had a bump on the head when she let go because she hit the top of the cage. She is fine dont worry. I wish that ride was in the USA. It does need a shorter run cycle.

I always found it amazing how you seem so calm and unfazed on the most intense of rides. I was going to post the other day and ask if there was ever a ride you’d been on that did freak you out or that you didn’t feel great on! … and today I think I have the answer! Great vlog series! Spain has something similar to the Corsair to the Rainbow. There were two at the Feria de San Isidro, but gave a miss because it got really busy

I actually went to that same fair a few years back when I was in Paris, and they had a much bigger ghost train there, no idea why they decided to get rid of that one!
They had one of those big magic carpets at fantasy island about six years ago think it was called g force

Cages on the end of the pirate ship are nothing new, there’s a few in Spain & Gran Canaria. I’m surprised you have never seen them. I did one over 15 years ago.

Looked like a cross between a rocking ship and Hero.
In France it is the norm that pirate ships has this cages. There are many of this in France, so it's nothing very special for the french people. Really.

Health and safety in France is definitely different to here in the UK. I went to Luna Parc near St Tropez in the south of France and my friend broke his arm in a fun house of all things due to a corridor being pitch black, there was a big drop he didn’t see and he fell down it, crazy!
