A little fun fact about Road Runner Express. The coaster originally operated at Six Flags New Orleans, but due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the park was abandoned but some rides were salvaged and relocated to other parks and Road Runner was one of the coasters saved from the Hurricane!
With X2, you have to ride the back row if you want the smoothest ride. The front can be BRUTAL. It's because of the track design. The width of the track makes the cars spin so if you are in the front, you really get jolted, in the back everything is already lined up pretty well and it's pretty smooth.
The only real consensus seems to be that the inside seats are more comfortable. I always take the outside because I don't mind getting ragdolled by X2. It never beats up my head, usually just my legs
recently I rode X2 in the back, second to last row (hadn't been on it in years) and the final raven turn gave me such terrible whiplash! I was on the outside seat though so I'm not sure if that was the reason :(
I just had such a great time watching this vlog. Magic mountain is a true bucket list park for me, and you both just did such a great job taking us around the park. With all the great new coasters there, oddly enough it's revolution and ninja I want to ride the most. Guess that just shows my age from remembering when they were the iconic rides in the industry! There are so many great vlogs from this trip, absolutely loving each one as they come out, as well as the sight seeing vlogs on the sanbrooke Adventures that compliment the theme park vlogs so well. Or something like that! 😂 It always trips me out to see Twisted Colossus instead of the original. As much as I loved it, it was riding like a rough relic, way back in 2001. Really enjoy the Cali vlogs. Between you guys and another channel, I just discovered (The Carpetbagger) I'm being put on about a lot of things I didn't know existed. Upward and onward to both of you beautiful souls.❤️

I was 12 and when the ride returned into the station, the mechanism on the restraint and seatbelt would not unlock. They had to shut down the ride and call maintenance, haha...I was just a wee bit of a kid too...good times
Was there in August, most the lockers were broken. Something we weren’t aware of when we wasted our money on a multi locker pass 😂 loved this park, X2 wasn’t open though 😭 Wonder women was amazing though, awesome first experience of single rail coaster.
Really appreciate you putting in the POVs - especially for the parks I haven't been to myself. I have been to Magic Mountain, but I still appreciate you taking the time to download and put in the official POVs - just feels like a more complete vlog. Obviously, prefer your POVs, but I know you have no control over that at a lot of the parks over here in the US.
If I went to this park today, I would give Viper a miss even though I've rode it dozens of times and I always regret it! I would definitely ride Superman Escape if it was open even after a frightening incident where we over ran the brake run, yikes! Great day Shawn and Charlotte!!!
If you ride it once in your life then be glad that one time wasn't between 1992 and 2016. The restraints completely ruined the coaster during that era. Very painful, and they also made it difficult to see anything.

It used to be much nastier. For a long time now they've been bringing the trains to a complete stop at the midcourse brake run. They probably wish they could slow the second half down even more. Sometimes I still grey out. It depends on how hot it is and how much water I've had.
My home park. Been there more times than I can count. First time was in 2012. As a matter of fact, I got a memory on Facebook today. I was there 10 years ago today. So funny that your video came out today.

I visited the park today (29th September). I agree with your comments on X2. It was my first time on a 4D coaster and I found it very intense. So much so it made me feel quite ill. I had to ride Goliath to get my coaster mojo back 😂. It was also not busy during the day today. Keep up the good work!
I grew up on the east coast so have only to SFMM once. We're looking forward to visiting in early November as Frightfest wraps up. I'm glad we watched your vlog because it does seem that the park is mostly operating on all cylinders. If only Superman is closed, should be a good trip!
At 37:43: This Magic Flyer Kiddie Coaster used to be Percy's Railway at Whistlestop Park which used to be a Mini Thomas and Friends Theme Park Thomas Town.

I hope MM doesn't replace Ninja. But I get the feeling it will happen. I think its the most visually interesting looking coaster (while it moves) than another other coaster. The new suspended looping coasters are cool, but I like the old Arrow design.
I would love to see Viper redone. Make it a smooth experience. Its a shame that Six Flags didn't take care of this coaster. It could still be an intense and enjoyable coaster. They could start with trains with no over the should restraints. Kudos to Six Flags for getting rid of the ones on the Revolution. It was a head banger.
Have you watched Rollercoaster a movie back I the 70s, ft revolution, another thing, when you ride X2, if you like boosters at fun fairs, I don't think it will be that bad 😊😊

After watching the movie Rollercoaster back in 1977, Magic Mountain is top of my park bucket list mainly just to ride Revolution! x

Unfortunately there was a fire earlier this year near some of the generators for Superman which has caused the extended closure this year.
