    Great video! I know that the picture shows the antennas sticking straight up, but the best way is one halfway and one down, or one down and the other one about 25 degrees up from the one that is all the way down. Just makes the signal propagation better

    I just got mine and it works great. I have it linked to my T-MOBILE Ho.e Internet. I had a minor buffering issue with thenTV in the bedroom with the router in the front room, not even 20 ft away, but there is a wall. I plugged this extender in and it was easy setup on my computer and I haven't had a problem so far. I was skeptic about the WPS button because there is no button on my router. No worries, you can get everything set up on your co.puter or phone.

      Advice is needed. Perhaps I skipped a step. Although my TP link is active it appears that none of my devices such as Roku TV, Lockly electronic door lock or ring cameras are functioning off the Wi-Fi extender. All these components work and function off of my router, off of my Wi-Fi net work and password. And one know if I skipped a step? Or do I have to literally load all of my devices onto the TP Link mesh Wi-Fi extender AC 1200

      @@rareuss2064gmail For me, it was nearly plug and play. Per the instructions, if there is no WPS button to auto link it to your modem, I got on my computer (You can download the app and do it there as well) and connected it to the extender. Then I input in the web browser the 192.***.**.* number provided in the manual. From there, you will have to find your main modem's wifi and connect it with its password and as for the TP Link, I kept it as the same password of the main modem. If you haven't, you have to configure the extender via computer or the mobile app first. If you used the WPS button, it should of already did it, but I always recommend to do it manually as described. Just don't believe it is defective, you most likely didn't do it correctly. If you are seeing your extender's wifi when you search for it but not getting internet through it, you should just manually configure it.

    I have a question… I don’t know much about extenders.. if I connect my router to the extender through Ethernet, can I use the “Ethernet internet” to create a new WiFi through the extender, while my routers wireless WiFi is turned off? I’ll appreciate every answer 🙏🏻

    I thought it would just reconnect as usual

    What about the speed of the tp link is it as fast as the router when used or slower

    • @muhdymenthol
      @muhdymenthol 3 года назад +4

      It pumps out about same speed as your router, it’s basically an extender for your wifi so you can get strengthened connections in weak spots throughout your house. This is not whatsoever a wifi/internet booster, this will not make your wifi faster.

      The real issue isn't the Square Area coverage, its the type of obstacles in the way. For example, a reinforced concrete wall or a refrigerator will stop the signal dead in its tracks even if the device is a few feet away from the router.

    We have 100 Mbps internet but the modem is in the hall. My room is at the back so there is no internet access. We got Xiaomi's Wi-Fi booster too. I have internet in my room but I can only get 10-15 Mbps. There are many ping problems in games, especially in Valorant. This Wi-Fi booster is deploying 2.4GHz. I wonder if I would benefit from buying this 5GHz TP-Link RE315?
