Actually, if you look carefully at the First Position trailer, there is a millisecond of her routine near the end. I only noticed after watching this and then watching the First Position trailer again....
Thank you for posting. After watching the documentary First Position, I had to do a lengthy search in order to find the incredible dancer who performs during the credits and it was well worth it!
Wow! This is the first time I've seen something "sexy"in ballet. She is incredible. Very athletic, and she demonstrates that she can use her entire body in dance, not just the vanilla feet, legs and arms. I thought the routine was exotic, primal, mesmerizing! Simply stunning. It's very true what someone in the documentary said, "this girl has the it factor"
The most iconic piece of yagp existence
Was just promoted to Principal Dancer at San Francisco Ballet!

Was this supposed to be her doing improv? She is AMAZING !
01:18 I would like to know how she did that
Daph Duck first: practice splits/flexibility
Then: learn to stand on one leg. Finally: lift your leg up. That’s all!! 😅
10,000 hours of practice?
She took this to YAGP 2010 or 2011, I think.
