Interesting to hear you speak with Ed. He’s been a great voice to the world about his experiences and perspective.

People forget that it’s a regional problem like Ed says. End users are in the us and sadly the human trafficking is to the US. This isn’t just mexicos fault. They obviously need to do better but so does the us. Both countries together can mutually benefit immensely from each other if it’s a problem they BOTH are willing to handle. Currently not seeing the political will on either side.

So confounded as an American we as the citizens of this nation are so shielded and protected from the real underpinnings which allow our lifestyles to be what they are, then when we are not we still are not forced to make a decision to choose one way or another, ignorance is the beauty of not seeing true dichotomy, knowledge is such a strenuous burden, how can we judge anyone, knowledgeable enough to know they must make a choice.

Exactly. It's a tragedy having to make decisions or do things that are against everything you stand for...just so you and your family can LITERALLY be granted the privilege of life over slaughter. It's as if SATAN HIMSELF set up headquarters down there. It's just hell.

That comes from the cities dialect. Most pronounce it "nul". Other people here it and when they don't speak the same way, even when they see it spelled out they pronounce it "nol". It all comes from where they hear the word. Having lived in the DC area and then the Baltimore area, it amazes me at how the two areas being so close still pronounce the same words totally different. Some adding letters and some taking them away and some I can't even explain and have no idea.

I think a realistic indicator of the risk that is present to both countries, Mexico and the United States, concerning drugs and illegal immigration that are both being used to profit these crime organizations is that you have 330,000 subscribers and after months of it being posted, only about 10% have bothered to listen. I live in Texas and am aware because as a pastor i have seen the human cost. But nobody seems to think about what is going on. My question continues to be: Who does it benefit HERE that has the power to hide and cause the press to largely ignore the pain and suffering of the poorest of the poor, the most helpless of the helpless?

Absolutely....we accept people from all walks of life....50 years ago would be a different story but thats just how things were...people have changed but i think its time to take care of ourselves now, no more immigration for a little while, we need to rebuild our own infrastructure and manufacturing base and also our skills for the middle class, we cant accept any more people until we have the ability to assimilate those groups over time

    Questions i would ask Ed:
What's stopping Cartels from killing the president (of Mexico)?
What's stopping the US from placing a figurehead as president in Mexico to do their bidding like they did in Cuba?
Can change happen if politicians suffer direct casualties from this crisis?
Will it help to raise the salary of police in Mexico from being corrupt like 200k+ a year?

    • @jonathanramos8414

Cartels aren't stupid they won't kill a sitting president. That will just bring more heat on them. Escobar killed a presidential candidate and it just made the Colombian and American governments go after him harder.
