Man I really love triple jump they’re always putting so much effort into their videos and the music in the background is so relaxing
Perfect for bedtime I throw one on and drift away

"Silent Hill 3 is admittedly not the best game in the series"
Didn't y'all put 3 as the best Silent Hill game on your own list?
I guess it's a different writer than that list.
Oh yeah! Here we go! Scare Time! Now I've never played a horror game but I'm going to give it my all!
@@ItsMeBarnaby that's how it goes, thank you! Couldn't remember the whole quote.
Would you give a horror game a try this year? :) on Halloween? You never know!!
@@ItsMeBarnaby😅😅😅😅😅😅
Resident Evil 7 is a fantastic first horror game to go with. You don’t really need to play the others to get the full story is the best part & it’s sort of a side story in my opinion for the franchise.
Love it. I really like your massive lists and scariest moments is right up my alley.
I gotta say, ranking and any other arguments aside, nothing has given me more nostalgia than TripleJump. Keep up the excellent videos!
Looking forward to remembering all the ways Majora's Mask traumatised me as a child.
Awesome list and glad to see some of my suggestions on there. I wish I would have included the first appearance of Michael Davies in Faith, and the following Mortis that ensues.
The Evil Within series is super underrated in my opinion. I played them without knowing much about them other than they are horror games. Also didn't play them until about a year ago. I loved them so much. Also the Condemned games are fantastic and also underrated.
The Licker in RE2 jumping through the one-way mirror got me _every single time_.
I was so excited to contribute ideas on that RUclips community post for this video. It was fun to research and suggest! And yes, it was a long list. I just wanted to make sure you guys had as many options as possible to make the best video you could.
I am going to watch through this all right after work. Hope you are all well, Team TripleJump!

I feel like one of the main reasons behind letting multiple moments from the same game in has to be Resident Evil.
Seeing the first zombie and the first encounter with the dogs both have to be in this list if we're being real.
3:47 the other thing about Mr. X RE2 (at least in the remake) is by the time he shows up, you're usually low on ammo & left a couple Lickers roaming the station, & now you're forced to run thru them to get away from him
This was quite the undertaking 😮 you outdid yourself on this one!
A great list, though I would have loved to see Dredge on here, and/or a wallmaster/gloom hand from Zelda *shudder*
Shoulda named this list "102 scariest Legend of Zelda moments" instead. SHEEEEEEESHHHH!!!
Not technically in a game but the promotional material for Luigi’s mansion scared me so much when I first came across it
Man did I hope you'd include shadow of rose. This was the scariest resident evil experience of my life. The monster baby part of the base game was scarry but the moving dolls were downright terrifying for me.
This list is very nice, great choices and all, but this list won't be the same without Giygas from Earthbound for example. But I'm still happy with all the choices in this video.
The cave episode was some of the best RUclips I’ve seen in a very long time feels like it’s finally getting good again Thankyou!
I enjoy these lists and never post about what should have been on them, but the absence of The Shalebridge Cradle from Thief 3 (but the Thief reboot made the list…really?) or The Ocean House Hotel (Vampire- the Masquerade: Bloodlines) seems like a major oversight. Would have loved to have seen Clive Barker’s Undying featured, as well. I wouldn’t even be saying this if there weren’t so many entries for FF7!!! 🤦
I came to the comments to see if anyone else felt the Ocean House Hotel should have been on the list.
Shalebridge Cradle was an experience I'll never forget.
@@neilmcgrory1720 That would be me, brother! 🤜🤛
Aye, not including The Shalebridge Cradle is a crime itself. But showing the Thief reboot instead is a slap in the face.
Sae in Fatal Frame 2 is far more frightening than the falling woman, what a strange choice.
I was waiting this ENTIRE TIME for number 9. I am glad it made it in, and I no longer have to write a letter.
How'd the suffering not make this list
this is an incredible video. I don't agree with all, but agree with a lot. video games are great, and love your content!
I loved the Flatwood Monster cameo at the alien invasion in Majora's Mask.
I know it's more story mode, but in mk1 when Mileena was turning was really upsetting to see. The pain, her confusion and fear , it reminds me of zombie games when a seemingly uninfected person starts to turn or in Deadspace when one of the survivors turns infront of Isaac
Mortal kombat can have some really knarly body horror sometimes can't it.
Seeing the Cyberdemon in the original DOOM for the first time at seven years old definitely scared me. Nobody told me about id 😂
Came here to call out the Cyberdemon... Hats off to you.
The level called Gotcha in Doom 2 where you walk in the room and a Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind appear is probably my pick. Some terrifying moments in Doom, the use of lighting and jump scares was trailblazing.
There were some scary moments in the Hexen games, also by id, too. Sewer levels with poor lighting and creatures jumping out of the water.
Can you make the music a bit mellow? Its kind of annoying and a little loud, it sounds like youre battling against the music to be heard
What? The music is fine.
@@JTidiotboy maybe to you
sad that Cry of Fear wasnt mentioned, especially the Sawrunner forest chase THAT SCENE WAS SCARY
Even after twenty years, the chase with Monster-Ock still horrified me. Doc Ock is a handful. Carnage is terrifying. Ock with the Carnage Symbiote is horrifying. Further amplified by Dee Bradley Baker's phenomenal performance.
I absolutley love your number one spot and i personally think thats right where it needed to be. When i saw that as a kid i was terrified. Nightmares for months, my uncle was playing the game and i ran and hid behind his chair. I will never forget that scene.
Hey! It's nice to see this list finally arrive after seeing that community post. I'm glad to have contributed.
I am disappointed that _nothing_ from any Metroid game made it. There's...so many options to pick from. :(
I'm a horror fan so I always look forward to videos showing moments which gamers enjoy a lot .
👍👍
I don't normally play horror games. I'm not entertained by them because I'm expecting for the game to try to scare me. That being said, I had The Outer Wilds recommended to me by a work colleague with no further context. The Dark Bramble was the most unnerving experience I've had in years of gaming.
The Simon Miller jokes make an amazing, overly long, odd number video game ranked video into S Tier
He leaped to a phone on to the hardest part of that ring...lol
David from ME2 and 3 always makes me cry. Well the story at least. I have a younger brother myself who is autistic.. And I couldn't ever imagine doing those things or letting those things happen to him. The voice acting and everything.. Gets me every time. Someyimes the scariest things in a universe with Reapers and aliens, is a human man
I'll be damned if Resident Evil 4 wasn't a scary game. There are MANY scary things in there. The village, the giant mutant fish, the chainsaw man with the sack on his head, the entire church sequence, the burning barn battle. I mean the list goes on!
The regeneradors always scared me. Oh, and the bit with Ashley and the armor.
Do you mean Del Lago? The giant salamander?
The scariest part for me is the Regeneradors. The Ashley part was also very anxiety inducing in the Remake. Especially if you want the accomplishment of not using the lantern but you're also a completionist like me and can't leave treasures behind. That was insanity and I had to pause a couple times 😂😂😂
Before the video even begins, if the Ocean View Hotel segment of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines isn't on this list, its a bad list.
Is anyone else baffled that MADiSON isn’t on this list? Or Mortuary Assistant!
I’m amazed you haven’t included the first encounter of Volatile from Dying Light. It isn’t much of a jump scare, but when you have to get MRE during first night time mission! Oh gosh…! The setting and atmosphere it gives when you have to run away from them and can hear them coming for you from behind. You definitely clench your butt cheeks without even knowing.
I know some people that even refuse to play during night on Dying light even being high level in Agility. It’s just too scary for some people.
Also the run through the tunnel where the Volatiles spawn from everywhere.
It’s such underrated game.
ah I remember silent hill 4 seeing mutated Henry from the doorhole terrified me.
and deadrising credits jumpscare.
shame they didn't come to this listing
I don't really play horror games... But i do watch Triple Jump, so here we go!
Would love to see another list on this topic
Brilliant and at 18:56 you can see a resident evil Easter egg in the evil within. Also the metro 2033 when you get grab by the librarian monster scared me and also hearing the dark ones voices.

Well, that took a while to make.
Scariest gaming adjacent moments:
#3 the day one patch
#2 season passes
#1 NFTs
Solid list. Although if I were to pick the most unnerving location in Bloodborne (my favorite game), I'd go with Upper Cathedral Ward. The ambient soundtrack alone is enough
This is the type or stellar content I enjoy on triple jump.
The ONE jump scare of ANY game that gets me EVERY time, even though I KNOW it's about to happen, is the dogs jumping through the windows in the first L-shaped hallway in the original Resident Evil one from PS1 days.
You guys should have more subscribers, this channel is brilliant 👏
Awesome video. Just subbed. Keep up the awesome stuff
Another outstanding effort. Well done all!
Thanks for all your hard work and great content love triple jump !
I swear to god if subnautica isn’t somewhere on this list I’ll riot!
While the collector ship was stressful, i think it was far outranked by any of the reaper invasion sequences (the reaper noise fills me with terror every night of my life) or the Ardat-Yakshi Sanctuary in Mass Effect 3. I dread that mission even though i know the story!
I'd love to see a MegaMan games ranked video 💙
A shame you chose the Ratking fight for TLOU2. I think the Seraphite Ambush on Ellie is terrifying
I think what's so effective about the Angler Fish on Dark Bramble is that, chances are, the first time you encounter them, you aren't even aware of what the hell killed you. At that point of the game, you've likely just become aware of the time loop and confused as hell about what to do, where to go, etc. only that you need to discover things to make sense of your goals. so, naturally, you're frantically trying to see and do as much as you can before the supernova. You find yourself in this tiny cavern of a celestial body and the vibe just feels off; the fog obscures your vision and the overwhelming size of the fish skeleton, somehow more fitting here than in the sand caves (as if that's any consolation), gives you the impression that you're about to be met with a terrible fate. Then your controls go bad, noises get louder and, if you're unlucky enough to catch sight of what's about to cut you're run short, you die horribly and suddenly enough to make you shit yourself. It sets the precedent that while there are natural forces in this universe that do not care for your feelings or mushy little existence, there are still truly organic threats that no one was supposed to discover and live to tell the tale, because they will kill you exactly how they know best, and consciously to boot. It creates the impression that this is a place to be avoided at all costs, because you will not survive, and you will not want to try again.
And then the game makes you go back, for real. It makes you face the unknown, even when, or if, you really don't want to. I think it's perfect.
you forgot when King Boom Boo chases Knuckles in Sonic Adventure 2
Noped out of Alien Isolation after one hour. Never looking back!!!
The zombie baby screaming in Dying Light caught me so bad. I didn't even know they existed until that moment
"admittedly not the best game in the Silent Hill series"
Didn't y'all rank this as the number one game in your Silent Hill games rankings? 🤔
Lost all credibility for a horror list as soon as they said that. SH3 is one of the best horror games of all time, but since its more popular to put praise on SH2 its "not the best game in the series"
You guys really did not include the worst jumpscare of them all... getting the sheets lifted from your nightly game of DS.
Glad that u include Outlast Whistleblower DLC here. But i thought a scientist licking Waylon's face is way more scary than Eddie Gluskin wanting to make u a woman 😅😅🤣
I would say the hidden zombie dog scare is much more brown trousers inducing in the first Resident Evil - the POV cutscene that happens if you try to open the mansion's front door.
Perspnal ones I've came across
No particular order
1. Zombies from Conkers Bad Fur Day
2. Mad Doggs House from GTA San Andreas
3. Joel seperated from Ellie from The Last Of Us
4. The Statues in The Legend Of Zelda Majoras Mask
5. Super mario 64 Staircase
6. Kingdom Hearts 2 Xemnas Speech in Trons World
7. LA Noire the whole game
8. God Of War 2 nightmare sequence
9. Old Arkham City in Batman Arkham City
10. SVR11 Druid Arena in Road To Wrestlemania
One that got me good back in the day was the first level of Another World (or Out of This World.) When that giant alien mountain cat thing jumped at you from out of nowhere and roared. 😅
I see ben and i see peter i click sub automatically these guys made quarantine livable so i support them anywhere
love the video but the background music is very distracting
Damn RE 1 making the list a few times in the top few is what I’m here for 😎
Haven’t played SOMA yet so I was like fast forward!! Fast forward!
It's really similar to the Tomb Raider entry, but as a kid the introduction of the Red-Eye King in Starfox Adventures was a shock against the rest of the game.
It's already a long list, but there's lot's more, like the story about how the dreamers turn into Dagoth's servants through mind alteration and disease in Morrowind, or the final boss in the shoot 'em up Blazing Star for example. Then there's stuff that's equally terrifying and is not about horror, a game like S.W.A.T. 4 for example. While i do not agree with a lot of your lists, the time and effort to put these together is appreciated.
Please stop saying the entry before the game
A spoiler warning is useless if we don't know what games are going to be spoiled.
Please just say the game name first, then the entry so we can mute & look away before being spoiled
Triple jump. This is outstanding 👏
SH3 not the best in the series?! Do you contradict your own list? the best Silent Hills?
the opening voice was absolutely creepy! get that man's a VA career asap lol
Music is incongruous to the subject matter. Great video, but better music choice would make it superb.
you missed the scariest part about the MGS3 ghost walk-- the ghosts of your enemies can reflect how you killed them. For example, if you killed someone, let a vulture eat them, and then ate the vulture, the ghost will accuse Naked Snake of cannibalism.
Great number 1. I was 15 working at blockbuster and we had just got in ps ones for renting and 3 test games resident evil, twisted metal, and wipeout. I took resident evil and a system home to try out. It was 3am a dark room and high as a kite and by the time that first zombie and dog jumping through the wind happens i was done for the night
The way Laura chases u in The Evil Within is so stressful.
Resistance 2 falling through the building to the Dark Grimm hotel 😭 scary as hell!! Also mimic chests from Dark souls 😂
Haven't reached it yet, but I remember nominating the Man-Bat jump scare from Arkham Knight when you asked. Hope it made it in!
Yay!
Don't forget about the part in Layers of Fear when you're about to leave the child's room and are instantly greeted by that large creepy doll head in the doorway.
Number 1 gave me nightmares for years as a child
Not the scariest I'll admit but I'm surprised the Zegnautus Keep portion of Final Fantasy XV didn't make the list. The game pretty much goes into survival horror for that segment with Noctis having to hide from the Rogue Axemen amongst other things like the section with the giant daemon smashing the crates.
Kiitos taas. Voittaa suoratoistopalvelut 100-0.
The Humble Half Life Headcrab - "A sad balloon taped to a prawn" - Scariest of all time...
thanks you guys!
"its-a me! Mario!" 0:42 xD
This is the best horror movie of 2023.
You forgot Doom 3
...I have done myself a justice not getting attracted to Mass Effect
Ahh, so many wonderful traumas to relive
Hmm. It is missing the moment from Diablo 1, when you open the door to Butcher. :]
You definitely deserve more subscribers 👍
Majora's mask has and always will be my top favorite game of all time
Cheaper just to watch these videos on repeat.
I was not prepared to see my name suddenly come up in huge writing 🙈😂
Ah, something fun to watch to distract from work!
