Marley twists are my definite go-to. The longest i can go is two months. I get about 2 good inches of growth in that time.

Winter in south Africa is just a month away and my friend just challenged me to a marley twist protective style for 4 months straight - of course with following my usual weekly and monthly routine. This will be the first time doing it so will see how it goes, especially since I can't stay more than a month with braids on 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. Great video by the way 😉

Me too. After 4 weeks I start counting down to the sixth week. Sometimes I don't even get there. I'm looking for videos on how to do that but looks like there are none. I really want to make my braids last

No I didn’t wash my hair during the 4 Month. Also I used the oil every 2 weeks
my hair isn’t long enough for the twist , ik a few parts of my hair is very long but the rest .. will be sticking up like a unicorn horn 🦄 .😭

Braiding hair is so bad for my hair so I let it go. I had much much more length retention 😚
You gotta change it up. Do braids then do a ponytail then braids.
