I had chicken nuggets and potato wedges for breakfast because the deep fryer was out. No shame. Not too long ago I ate two lava cakes with ice cream for breakfast because the mix makes two. Live your best life.
Potatoes aren't bad for you. They have tons of nutrients and you aren't using oil... even if they were bad for you live your best life you deserve to eat whatever you damn well feel like
Girl , I use an air fryer and I put whatever I want to cook at once, and I open it and shake it to move around the food couple of times while it cooks . All perfect at the same time ! No need for patches
Grace, some tips. The paper restricts air flow. They make special paper with holes in it. Also don't use aerosol oil. Order yourself a nice oil spritzer from Amazon to apply oil to your food. An oven style air fryer is more expensive but more roomy. You can use anything in your air fryer that is oven safe. Also, if your food does not have air fryer instructions on it, a good time of thumb is to half the time. An air fryer works a lot like a convection oven. Love you!
I love watching Grace's cooking videos mostly because she ACTUALLY knows what she's doing, because sometimes youtubers make the STUPIDEST mistakes that like people wouldn't normally make and its so frustrating to watch, but with Grace she actually executes things well. and it just feels super satisfying??
when you said the sweet potato crisps needed to be in a single layer, my thoughts were: 1. fuck that. 2. how would I build a rack that fits the airfryer and has many shelves? 3. wire. it should be wire so the air circulates. 4. ooh, this would solve the need-to-work-quickly issue. you could load the rack up, then just open the drawer and pop it in. 5. I wonder if the weird bbq cheese toasty thing at my parents house is the right size? (it's actually for burgers, it just looks like it's for toasties. don't BBQ toasties. or do, I'm not the boss of you) 6. I don't need an airfyer. I don't want to sacrifice kitchen space to an airfryer. why am I designing accessories for a non-existent airfryer? 7. I also don't have sweet potatoes.
I was thinking the same thing! You’d have loads of extra space for another layer, maybe even more than one. Then you can cook a lot more in one go! Unfortunately, I also do not own an airfryer.
As a cook, can I say it is so nice to see someone who is so excited about making food. You made me laugh and salivate at the same time. Keep up the great job grace.
Agree! It’s so easy now, all I do is put in the food, plug in the air fryer and press a button.. my Gas oven is just such a struggle and trek to turn on. I only use it if I’m cooking more than on think or if I’m making a roast meat!
The Korean vlogs I watch are full of them! In Korea you usually don't have big ovens, so they either buy small table top ones or nower days air fryers.
Nothingn better than a new video from grackle! Also love to watch grace whilst baking.. like having a conversation with a good old friend!:) the best community ever.
Grace i love your videos, truly, they never bore me, i sometimes even rewatch old videos. I always have to watch your videos while eating, love your chill vibes and your cute family, always so light and funny
We are so similar!! I was baking before quarantine but definitely a beginner. I was very disappointed when flour and yeast started going out of stock lol. But I got a kitchenaid mixer around the same time as you and have had the same experiences haha. I was also given an air fryer by one of my boyfriend's co-workers. I hadn't even told my bf that I wanted one. Haven't used it yet since I'm intimidated, but this definitely encouraged me!
Just found your channel. Love it! ❤️❤️❤️ I just bought a Cosori and I wanted to watch your recipes. They came it great and I'm excited to try mine now!
I'm too tired to read through all the comments, but I did want to offer a tip for dredging - wet hand/dry hand. Dry hand does flour and sets the food in the egg, wet hand does the egg coating and sets the food in the breadcrumbs, dry hand dusts the food with enough breadcrumbs to create a not sticky part to grab so the food can be coated in the breadcrumbs with the dry hand. Hopefully the explanation makes sense. Love your content! Thank you for keeping us all company in the pandemic. 💜
I LOVE my airfryer! I haven't tried baked goods in it yet (being a baker, that kind of seems sus to me). But it has been 90-100°F in upstate NY (by Canada) all summer, and being able to cook meals in the air fryer and not having to heat up my kitchen has been THE BEST.
When you don’t have a boyfriend so the highlight of the day is the ‘grackle has uploaded a new video’ notification, this is gonna be a gooden I can tell😂
I have a boyfriend, but he decided to agrue with me instead of cleaning the table after he spilled food on it. So this video is also the highlight of my day😅
I have that exact air fryer and I love it. I live alone and I got it because so many times I don’t want to make things because I have to turn on the oven. (I cook a ton in my breville toaster oven too). I’ve used it a lot, great for baked potatoes and reheating pizza and stuff!
It works brilliantly for a family of 3, I use mine almost every day. That and the instant pot have pretty much taken over cooking in my kitchen, they're especially great for weeknight meals.
I have the same air fryer and I’m tempted to get a second one so I can cook enough for all of us. So fast, so easy to clean, and little to no oil, and doesn’t make my whole kitchen hot. I have seen some warnings to stand airfryers on a cutting board as some people have had damage to their kitchen counters.
Hey Grace, been watching you on here for ages.....love your content. Spooky seeing this vlog as we are in the process of researching Air fryers as we really want one. Cheers for this 👍👍👍. Bty...just found you on TikTok.....double whammy 🤣🤣
Our oven did the same thing, then that setting broke completely so we use the grill setting to cook everything. It means we have to flip everything over half way through but it cooks things better than the oven setting ever did!
😍 I live alone, and I now can't live without my air fryer. I haven't used my oven since I bought mine. It's excellent, especially with the current price of electricity. My electricity bills have remained the same as they were pre massive price hike. Big appliances like electric ovens take a lot of wasted energy to heat - I can cook a full roast dinner for one in my air fryer in 30 minutes (meat, potatoes, roasted veg and frozen Yorkshire pudding) the only thing I use my oven hob for is gravy.
Which one did you buy? I have a Tefal Actifryer but it spins (I guess to cook things evenly) but that means you can't put anything fragile in. Your one seems like what I'm after.
Our air fryer is very different. It has a glass front to see in and removable racks so you can do several layers of chips at a time without getting soggy chip. Then you can swap out the racks for other attachments.
I bought and air fryer on an impulse when I went to costco but omg it's the best buy I've done in like a year, I love how the potatoes and cookies come out, also love to do chicken wings and don't even get me started on the frozen corn dogs from costco I JUST LOVE IT
I was going to get an airfryer years ago as I cannot tolerate greasy food (gallstones removed) I was put off by someone who had one and said it took 1hr plus to cook chips, they have either improved massively since they first came out or I was misinformed, will definitely take another look. Does it produce a lot of smoke since we had the house rewired cannot grill anything or open oven door when roasting as slightest swisp will set all the smoke alarms go off.
My grandma just bought an air fryer and she is loving it. We are doing sort of a joint custody of it so I get it every couple of weeks. I've been blown away at how well it works! It is just my boyfriend and me and it is perfect for us!
Get a ninja fooodiiii you can cook everything Whole chickens in like 20-30 minutes👌🏻 one pot pasta dishes etc my cookong game has levelled upppp x100000
Love my air fryer! Got it a couple of months ago and use it every day. Can see how it would be a problem for a larger family but there is just two of us so it works well.
Yes, yes it is. Sometimes I just don't want to turn on my oven, but also don't want to cook in multiple pots so I love my air fryer. 😝 it's great for families too, just have to have a large one
I use my air fryer a lot. I love the way you did the chicken tenders. I usually spray lightly on the rack. I air fry oven fish and chips and nuggets. I've done air frying on my channel. Cheers!
hi grace how are you. i always have loved your videos but during lockdown i have binge-watched them. they help me feel like we arent in lockdown like an escape i guess. xxx
I have a ninja foodi which is an air fryer / pressure cooker I got it in May and Iv used my oven once since 😂😂 the company have just brought out a double air fryer like the one in the video but 2 baskets that you can cook at different temps. Seems like that would be good for houses with more than 2/3 people.
Love the air fryer had ours a good while now, but for the first time last night my dad decided to put in giant marsallows 👀 they came out amazing, we don't have a garden so we can't have a bbq so this was a definite win.
Oh my gosh grace I had the same thing with my oven too but then we got an air fryer and now all my recipes come out amazing, the only problem with it is there is not much space.
DO AN AIRFRYER SERIES!!!!!!! I love this, it’s so healthy and the possibilities are endless.
This would be amazing, she's already a baking queen!
i STRONGLY agree!! i need some more recipes and inspiration when i get one
You should watch the electrics! They have lots of air fryer videos 🥰
But you do realise it's just a tabletop convection oven
Well, healthy it depends what you cook in it haha. Not everything is healthy just because it's not deep friend 🤭😅
Air fryers are a healthier alternative until you decide to eat french fries at 1am as a snack just because it’s so easy to cook fries now :/
I had chicken nuggets and potato wedges for breakfast because the deep fryer was out. No shame. Not too long ago I ate two lava cakes with ice cream for breakfast because the mix makes two. Live your best life.
Only if I had the patience to wait for my snacks at 1am 😂

😂😂😂 Bless her. Too funny and cute ❤️
My oven broke and now I finally have an oven that works well lol
Yeah our oven is terrible too so I make stuff in the air fryer our cousins gave
😂😂😂 that's my issue! Nothing gets cooked on the bottom, only on top!

I love when she sings 🥺
it’s beautiful!
Ah! Love this!
I’ve been looking at air fryers for months and finally ordered one today because it was a Deal of the Day on Amazon! 😁
OMW air fryers honestly don't get the air time they deserve - cooking freezer items and chips in them are such a hack and acc taste so much better!
After Grace's video, I think I should get one 😂
