Gentlemen, that is a Jaguar S Type, shame on you for not knowing go and sit on the naughty step. WOW the wonderful Steph I love her channel, I met her a couple of years ago at "The Motorist" at s GCCC evening and she is a wonderful person. I want a Mercedes SL I am a Mercedes guy through and through. I have S Class and a 1999 SLK which has cost me a fortune to restore insane I know but I love it. That looks a really fun event.
@@alsodriven You're right Make room on the naughty step for me The back looked a little stubby for a 420 but maybe the camera angle and it is very unusual to find a manual one.
How can he not know Hart to Hart! You`ll be telling me he doesn't know Hawaii Five-O next! 😂 The Jaguar 420 was based on the Mk2, but wasn't really linked to the much bigger Limo version (420G), other than sharing engines. The "Ferrari" replica is based on the Datsun 260Z, but that one has an American V8 fitted. Speaking of which, I`m surprised my mates orange Datsun 260Z wasn't there, he usually takes it!I`ll have to give him a ring! I`m not surprised theres a street parked classic Fiat 500 round there, there's a very well known classic Fiat 500 specialist & restorer just up the road from there! (Proietti`s, just opposite the prison!)
There's a Datsun 240Z under that 250 GTO-shaped fibreglass. It was quite a popular conversion, especially in the US, where 240Zs were plentiful. To me, it's a waste of a nice Japanese classic, but to each his own.
Love the "Do not touch" sign and the lady walking up to pet the Jaguar 😬
I know.... Mmmm 🤯
Nice video, folks 👌
Thank you 🙌
That Ferrari was probably based on a Datsun Z
Seems to be the running theme

I actually asked the owner
It's a 420
@@alsodriven It's a 420, but the Daimler limo was probably based on the 420 G, which is a totally different - and larger - beast
420. *sniggers, knowingly*

That one was a RHD, & like most of the UK spec ones,, was probably VERY rotten, hence it becoming a kit car!
I knew you would know!
Did you say “platina”? 👀
