Epilogue idea:
"Mechagodzilla 2's victory against humanity's threats was a poetic justice. He was made by GDF's best scientists reverse-engineering the Vortaak's first Mechagodzilla. Naturally, GDF would salvage the destroyed alien weapons and mothership to see what other things humanity could learn. New upgrades and models for the MG line were coming out of R&D, the first of which would be to allow MG 2 to combine with the warship Garuda. No sooner had these upgrades been completed, the salvage team had accidentally released a monster the Vortaak had been creating called Lightning Bug from the mothership. Super Mechagodzilla would soon face its first mission."

In 1993, Toho released Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, though it's actually the third movie to feature Mechagodzilla in any form. To be fair, this is the second incarnation of Mechagodzilla to be introduced into the franchise. In the movie, this mecha was created when they salvaged Mecha-King Ghidorah out of the ocean and reuse the mechanical parts to make a new Mechagodzilla to fight against Godzilla. He takes out Rodan before having at it with the monster king, firing all sorts of weapons; Mega Buster, Laser Cannon, Plasma Grenades, Shock Anchors, and Paralyzing Missiles. One ability not showcased in most games is that when combining with the warship known as Garuda, he can become Super Mechagodzilla, but even that wasn't enough to save him from being blown to scrap by a super-powered breath from Godzilla. Mechagodzilla II is probably my second favorite after Kiryu for his fine-looking weapons if nothing else.

MechaGodzilla 2 had successfully driven back the Vortaak invasion and halted SpaceGodzilla’s attempt to take control of Earth. His abilities proved to the world, “the best offense is a good defense”.
With that thought in mind, the GDF began to rebuild their broken and destroyed cities with Vortaak technology and materials that replicated MechaGodzilla 2’s armor plating, and had built walls that surrounded every major city on Earth in hopes to repel Kaiju attacks in the near future.
After the rebuilding process had been completed, humanity had witnessed Godzilla return to New York and attempt to destroy the city, but failed to even
penetrate their defense without the need of the Mecha’s.
With the knowledge that they are safe from attacks, humanity now begins to remodel every single city and town with their new technologies, safely securing their hope of surviving against the horrors they created on Earth

8:31 I love how they used Mechagodzilla's theme for Mechagodzilla 2 in story mode. I prefer this theme over Kiryu's theme which is used for Mechagodzilla 2 for versus mode.
Epilogue: The world celebrated when the vortaak were defeated. Humanity went to work straight away on reverse-engineering the technology onboard. It would take years but eventually all the secrets of the vortaak's advanced technology would be discovered such as cleaner power, advanced weaponry and more efficient food. The world would go into another golden age as the new alien tech crept into every aspect of human life. Humanity was now ready to repel another attack from the Vortaak, or give them a taste of their own medicine.

Mechagodzilla 2: After Mechagodzilla 2 triumphed other all Earth threats, he was next commanded to destroy his purpose, Godzilla.
However, the Mech did not follow the command. It became a self aware artificial intelligence ever since it absorbed the power of the crystals and refused to destroy humanity’s REAL saviour. Mechagodzilla 2, unlike his other GDF units didn’t seek to stay with humans, this one seeks to escape humanity, to prevent anyone from controlling him anymore, Mechagodzilla 2 through himself into the volcano of Seattle.
His sacrifice was worth it.
This mechagodzilla is actually more physically fit than Kiryu

SpeedemonY Kiryu was meant to be more agile than the rest. Yes, his movements are natural, but whenever I see Kiryu, I see something heavy and stiff.

Hmm... I'd say so. His moveset's a little worse than Showa MG, but he's still a competent fighter.

I have a question how can you not lower you team gauge for earth defenders aliens mutants and gdf
For the Earth Defenders, you have to destroy the crystals that are infecting the monsters.
For the Aliens, you have to kill the monsters infected by the crystals.
For the GDF, you have to destroy as little of the city as possible (The only inception being the Vortaak)
For the Mutants, you have to destroy as much of the city as possible.
These will make the meter go up for the faction you're in.
