In this game, the robots are not piloted by humans. They are programmed to be independent and the crystals made them go haywire

Kiryu is the lone exception. You'll probably end up dead when his spirit side takes over and becomes a tyrant

Mechagodzilla 2 was one the most efficient mechs made by the GDF, shortly behind Kiryu. However because of the crystals a virus was able to bypass the defense software of Mechagodzilla 2 and seize control of the mech from the pilots. Now the pilots were completely helpless as they watched their once noble machine slaughter those they swore to protect. It took the combined might of the other GDF mechs and the Earth Defenders to finally take Mechagodzilla 2 down. When the fighting was over, the GDF took Mechagodzilla's remains were taken to study just what happened. The pilots had been long dead due to thirst.
By bypassing the security and Defense software, Mechagodzilla 2 or GDF'S Mechagodzilla gained an evil mind of its own.
Varan was getting punished throughout the entire run time, it's so hilariously tragic
Epilogue: MG2's crew was thought to be the EDF's elite, but little did the world's governments realize that MG2 was co-opted by the Red Bamboo terrorist group. The organization utilized the crystals to augment the mech and attempted to usurp the EDF as the rulers of the Earth. It took the combined actions from Mothera, MOGUERA, and Godzilla to break up the Red Bamboo. Though it's broken up, black markets and backrooms the world over are filled with RB operators waiting to make a comeback."
Tl:dr after years of mockery and neglect by the Godzilla fandom in favor of 1974 MechaGodzilla and Kiryu, MechaGodzilla 2 becomes a God and takes over the world to prove that yes he in indeed the true MechaG

@@Dektoonics_inc. considering that if it hadn't been for Rodan's CPR sacrifice, MechaGodzilla 2 would have been the only kaiju to actually successfully kill Godzilla, I can't understand why people hate him either

After many years of trying to beat godzilla in a one on one mach but failed. Now that he has the crystals he can finally break free from the humans control and tranform the earth in to his design. but mg2 has some unfinished bigness with godzilla.

Why is it that when Kiryu wins he has a meltdown while using both mechaGodzilla 1&2’s roar and mechaGodzilla 2 gestures “come at me bro” while doing the kiryu roar? This game is confusing.
The monsters only had so many roars, so they had to mix them up so they don’t use the same roar for different things
How does this work though? Unlike all the other GDF monsters, Mechagodzilla 2 isn't controlled by an AI, its manually controlled by human pilots. Does that mean the humans were corrupt by the crystals?
If so... wouldn't Mechagodzilla 2 die in like 3 days once all the pilots died of thirst?
In the game, all GDF monsters have independent AI
Kiryu was the one with pilots
Even if he had pilots ( in this game they do not) It could be that either mecha king ghidorah tales control of the mech and does what he does best, or, the humans are corrupted by the crystals and when the mech turns tyrant the humans are maintained by the crystals radiation ( or just straight up fuse with the mech)

GamerBoy Jaylan Tyrant works on all factions.
Outside of mutant the only way to get tyrant is by collecting 7 power surges and beating Allied Assault
