What do you think of the new studio?!
New studio is SICK! Audio sounds great, you guys have come a long way! Love the channel
Thank you! It’s only going to get better from here!
Big timing - new studio and Pappy! Setup looks great - congrats guys!
Thanks, Dave! A few things to dial in still but we’ll get there.
I love this channel! Having said that …. all 3 of you need to be in all the videos. Essential.
Thanks, Daven! We couldn’t agree more!
New studio looks great! Congrats on the new space. Any plans to do a behind the scenes type video? Would love to see the space.
Also…congrats on the Old Rip! Awesome unicorn find. Cheers!
Thank you! That’s a great idea. Maybe once we get the rest of the place organized, we’ll shoot a little behind the scenes video!
Still can’t believe we were able to get our hands on one. Cheers!
Was just able to try this recently. Found a restaurant that had it. Was lucky enough to get a pour and I sadly loved it. I’m not good at picking out flavors but I got most of the smells and tastes you guys picked out. The powdered sugar note really got me when I had it. The vanilla, sweet tobacco not. The brown sugar on the nose reminded me of a cinnamon crunch cake. The Smokey oak taste ugh… I was really hoping I wouldn’t like it.. oh well 🤷🏻♂️
Haha yea we wish this was more available. Unfortunately impossible to find. As you saw - we had to go out to a forum and do some dealing. Pain in the butt!
I can find bottles at any time here in Ky. But they’re priced at 1k. No thanks. I got a 2oz pour for 28 dollars at a restaurant.
Really like the new studio. Love the vibe that it produces. Just gotta fill up that back wall and put another shelf and line it up with some of your bourbon collection. Just feels a little empty right now but I know you talked about it the vid. Maybe just a bit brighter on the lighting 😃 never tried van winkle but its my moms favorite. Shes had and still has every van winkle in her collection and still wont let me try any to this day 😂😂 she said once she gets any extras on any she has she will pop it but who knows when that will happen
We definitely have some adjustments to make. We’ll improve and dial it in over time. Your mom sounds awesome, but dang, share the love, mom! Not even a sip during the holidays?? Haha
@@3Bourboneers my mom is hardcore into bourbon. Lol she wants to start distilling soon 😂i hope 2023 is the year for a sip
Hey guys! So happy to see your evolution. Here’s some constructive observations from someone with a marketing/design background…
- your personalities and knowledge level are spot on! You can definitely play with the big boys!
- when in doubt, invest in audio first. You’ve come a long way in that regard.
- your graphics are great!
- the new studio is a giant leap forward! Lighting needs some tweaking but I’m confident you’ll get there.
- don’t be afraid to lean in to your midwestern roots! Wisconsin rocks in its own special way and we’re under represented in the RUclips Whisky world.
- authenticity will always be recognized by your audience. Stay true to who you are and people will respond accordingly!
By the way, are you from the east coast of Wisconsin or the West Coast of Wisconsin? Just curious. I’m in Minneapolis but grew up in Western Sconny.
One more thing…I’m a Vikings fan 🙊
I like everything this guy said minus the vikings fan part...bear down 😂 studio looks great though guys!
Hey thanks for the support! We agree with everything you’ve listed here. It’s definitely a work in progress, and we’re always aiming to improve in any way we can.
We’re actually in Western Wisconsin, right along the Mississippi! And…we are diehard packer fans haha.
Cheers!
Go Pack Go! 😂
Lighting a little off (dark). Audio ok but a little faint. Better than previous though. Good luck with the changes guys!
Yea we need to dial in things a bit. We’ll get there!
@@3Bourboneers just trying to give some honest feedback. Cheers guys!
We appreciate it! Cheers!
New studio looks solid. Below or above 300 for the old rip van Winkle?
Thanks, Janoy! Appreciate the support. Just over $300. Only pulled the trigger because we could split it 3 ways…and we’ve never seen one in the wild.
@@3Bourboneers not too bad! I'd probably have taken that opportunity too given how impossible it is to find
It was worth it for the experience for sure!
You guys are must watch- i like that; filing cabinet bourban- what does that mean-to you?
Filing cabinet bourbon to us means a bourbon is complex. Something that has a lot of notes to pull out. You could fill a filing cabinet with all of the notes!
Swanky studio, but I think you guys need to get back to your roots and do a winter hot tub edition at Mitch’s parents…
Got lucky and won in a giveaway
Nice win! 🥃
“No whiskey is worth $400”
M20 would like a word…
He can’t have a word cause he’s nowhere to be found 😂
@@3Bourboneers That’s fair 😂 I had the opportunity to try it at a bar and was blown away.. For what it is I think its msrp of 800-1000 is well worth it.
We would love to be able to try it someday. A legendary pour for sure and probably the only bottle worth its high price!
$800ish??
We see it on forums a lot for around $800 in Wisconsin. We paid under $400 for this one.
