Vaseline is the best stuff to put on chrome so that it does not rust. I have seen this on Dennis Collins coffee walk show and it is true because he has bought vehicle‘s that has had Vaseline on the chrome and it has been on them for years and they do not rust.
always love visits with Jim. He's always gotta good story, or two, to tell. lol Yeah GM is great about putting the battery in some really odd places! Under the back seat is common, cadillac used the backseat for a few years. Or my facorite, hidden under metal panels under the hood, or trunk. the Cobalts are kind of fun to drive if they're manual and boosted.
Jim needs to start his own You Tube Channel, He is a hit with everyone, what an original interesting, knowledgeable, individual. Jolene and Chad could help get him started.
Hey Jimbo...I spent a bit of time teaching myself to Vape without inhaling. It took a while before it became second nature. First I take a deep breath just before taking a hit. This fills the lungs with air and greatly limits the amount of Vape entering that can enter. I still get a good amount of nicotine, and that's what it's about for us ex smokers. My lungs are feeling pretty good these days, and I can take some nice deep breaths for a change. So happy to hear that you are gettin' off that Tobacky, cause we'd love to see ya around for a good long time.
You guys are great together love the conversation and all the info you share , I still have a black and decker electric drill like that I use with the case .
Seems like a down to earth chap, those cobalts were quick. My buddy had 1. But....rust was their issue. My aunt and uncle had. 4dr... 27000km on it...rea frames were completely rotted..all the brake lines and fuel lines rotted.. It went to dealer for inspection, they deemed car unfit... And yes was " ziebarted" back then...i undercoat my cars with the green cans of rust check. Never an issue.
I love watching the your stuff when you're with Jimbo, it's so funny. I'm glad he's found a friend in you because, A; as he say's " He's no businessman and B; People would take advantage of him because of it!!! He's just an honest Guy who tells you the truth. Great Guy. Keep up the good work. Hello from the UK
I took my 86 dodge 4x4 to the corner store to get smokes no plates and it snowed the night before and a chunk of snow blow off and hit the grill of a car and the guy turned around met me at the store and the chunk of snow was about 1 foot square and there was a hole in the guys grill the size of a ball of a hitch and even had crome around the hole were you could tell he slid into a hitch but because I had no plates it cost me 2000$ to fix his grill to keep the cops off my butt 🙄
Jesus that Ferrari is a poor man's Ferrari I guarantee there's never a dull moment with Jimbo definitely testing your patience because from what I know of Chad it's hard to prove him wrong and hanging out with Jim he's got a story in an answer for everything even when he screws up bad he still tries to justify it somehow no cap facts Lmfao
Jim's so funny but that 4 cylinder sleeper bets Mustangs, Corvettes, and even an Audi R8 with a few thousands in mods considering their msrp brand new was $21,995 and the other cars were 40-80k maybe more depending on the Audis Price. The only car that is pretty much its brother is the 05 Dodge Neon Srt4. Which was made from 03-05 for what reason idk why there sleepers too. If you don't believe it to look them both up in 07 Cobalt SS the contract with edm superchargers ended so they started putting a turbo on it which gave it a 55 horse power boost which a lot of people like but the purest like the supercharger version 😊
That's the most entertaining thing I've seen in a long time , really enjoyed it. So sorry to hear about the Olds.Jolene you are a whiz with the camera!🤗
Another video with Jim. He is always very educational and helpful in his comments of how not or how to do different applications. What a genus. Looking forward to more videos with Jim. Bill
G'day again chad, this comment is in addition to my comment below. What jimbo was referring to with the chevy cobalt, and the minor starting issue he had, is the component that's known as the "throttle body sensor" all the modern computerised engines have them, and they are a pain in the rear, as they carbon up from time to time, and not only can it affect the starting but the revs at idle will go up and down. It's a simple fix, about once a year, pull it out and hit it with some carby cleaner and shove it back in, you'll be good to go..!!👌
I'm glad hes showing off the car and talking about the issues and all this stuff like a good car sales and should so that way it doesn't feel like hes getting duped or something but damn it man like let's get out there and do some donuts and wrap it up it's all I'm saying let's just showcase is carved sounds to me like hes trying to get out of selling it because all they're talking about is all the flows the damn thing has
Jimbo is a great man!! hope she enjoys the car 🚘 jimbo seems to take care of things think she will b happy thanks for the video visiting with Jim is always a good time
yes. sand with 800 then wet sand with 1500 then clear with a 2 part with U.V. protection. the headlight fades cause the U.V. protection is gone and the sun is breaking down the plastic
going down memeory lane Its cool to see Jim's cobalt, those cars are quiiiick. I used to own a manual 07, which unfortunately it got hit by a pepsi semi truck but after years of not driving it I can tell you were reverse is. Now in those vw manuals reverse is a trick.
Just got around to watch this show it was another amazing one and when jimbow is on he always reminds me of my uncle jimmy who passed away 1 year ago he brings so many wonderful memories back
JIMBO yur a REAl hoot! keep JO on da cam/audio ....keep chad on schedule/productive and busy being polite ...he sure is polite and full of good information! a wide scope of content ... thanks!
G'day Chad & Jolene. In Australia Jim's Chevy cobalt was manufactured by (General motors holden) and sold as an SS holden club sport. A very sort after car, and still fetch big dollars..!! Especailly the red ones as they go faster..!🤣🤣
Hey Jimbo, how about paving the whole floor with that pile of bricks , it would look the part, and then broom a sand and cement mix into the cracks . Next a light sprinkle over the area with the hose to set it off.
interesting way to describe die electric vs cleaner. dielectric is good stuff for working connections, i smear it all over when i grind a bare sport for a ground, it will mush out when you snug it down and will keep water out. yes metal can be pourous, hadn't though about it. thats when some hit an engine block with map gas torch to sweat out oil the even after deep cleaning before painting.
Now I am sick to my stomach Ohhhh man the ols 🤬😳😡😫bummer but that’s okay you guy’s aren’t hurt an you can fix you’ve got an awesome set of tools and the skills to use um 😎🤙
I have a 2010 Cobalt sedan and even with 360,000 miles on it and not supercharged it goes up the mountain no problem in 5th gear and I live in Tennessee. You can buy better aftermarket headlights cheaper than the factory ones. If you send the ecu to zzperformance they can tune it so it will run much better. If she don't want it I will take it.
Think harley is going to enjoy her new car Chad and jolene and it's good that it's going to be driven and not parked away. Keep up the great work all of you 👍 👏
It was good seeing that Cobalt. They made them in our Lordstown plant in Ohio. I remember when that plant went up in the 60's. They started out making the Impala.
Jim, dry dirt weighs less than wet dirt. A cubic yard of dry dirt or sand weighs between 2000 -2600 pounds. While a cubic yard wet dirt weighs between 3000-3500 pounds.
Jimbo. Just an idea, but perhaps you can hook up a lil warning light to your reverse lights and stick it on ya dash so you know when you are in reverse. Have fun boys! Dino, Brisbane.
Id like to correct jimbo on the years of the cobalt ss. The cobalt ss supercharged started in 05 and ended in 07, and the cobalt ss turbo started in 08 and ended in 2010.
Will be a good show and those Cobalts were kinda gutless i thought, but maybe this one isn't. Will have to watch episode later due to crazy work right now.
I really hope there's a part 2 to this of Chad driving it because Joe just talk and talk and talk it sounds like a damn teacher from Charlie Brown WA' WA' WA' WA' WA' WA' WA'
If anyone could help what Jim was pointing at when he was explaining why it ran bad when it was cold? I have the same problem on mine and can't figure it out
that car is just like a Australian manufactured car that sadly the company dose not exist anymore but its almost identical to 2017 Holden turned into Chevy Cobalt SS
It’s cake to drive, worth about 7-10k, but it’s a souped up cavalier. Fun, quick zippy, not powerful. Definitely a nice daily. If you drive it to Florida and decide you don’t want it, holler at me lol.
Jim's alot of fun smart guy ,funny as hell, Chad got the patience!!!!!
Jimbo and his conversation is epic, love this man. Always eager to help out
@Based Catboi come on man that's not necessary. SMH 👎🤨
@Based Catboi you are freaking rude and you have no idea what he has and has not done! Look at your own self before you start judging others! 😡
Vaseline is the best stuff to put on chrome so that it does not rust. I have seen this on Dennis Collins coffee walk show and it is true because he has bought vehicle‘s that has had Vaseline on the chrome and it has been on them for years and they do not rust.
Jimbo reminds me of my dad, smokin all day, projects all the time, knows about all kinds of stuff. What a life.
Chad points at what are clearly dog prints in the concrete and Jim says no those are cows. 😂
Maybe Jim's cow's had paws and not hoofs. haha. then again . you will never know they could have been wearing boots with dog paw soles on. haha.
I had to rewind that. I saw dog prints too. When he said they were cow prints. I think his vape pen is laced with something.
@@LiveHive420 I'm thinking the same thing. haha. I'll bet Chad was giggling to his self.
@@LiveHive420 Or maybe UFO's been messing with the cow's
😂
always love visits with Jim. He's always gotta good story, or two, to tell. lol

Jim is always a wealth of knowledge that the everyday person would not think of or consider.
I think I could spend a real nice afternoon at Jim's, thanks for bringing us along!
Is Jim the least likely Ferrari driver ever?!
Its just a Mondail that's in poor shape at that
@SleepyUncleSam Well you're a bit of a negative Nancy aren't ya? 😂
Chad is so polite and good natured. And has tons of patience.
Jim needs to start his own You Tube Channel, He is a hit with everyone, what an original interesting, knowledgeable, individual. Jolene and Chad could help get him started.
I thought he had one, or maybe i'm thinging facebook
Jim Patterson has a RUclips channel with 10K+ subscribers @jimpatterson2826
Chad found your rear window for T-bird ... right side of Jimmys barn has an old steel car , with a beautiful rear window !!!!

I had no idea I was tuning into a metallurgy lecture. Jimbo has it all covered. Gotta love him. Great video everyone.
Jimbo is a great guy! I learn something every time I see him. He’s a brilliant mess.
Chad your too cool ! Always up front and respectful some one I'd like to hang with

Jim is so interesting. He researches information and knows so much about so many subjects. I love to see his fine cars.
Just don't fact check him.... he tends to make things up as he goes. Lol

Jimbo the science guy. Love spending an hour with him. You learn and laugh lol
16:00 has got me in tears man. great as it can be

I have to say , I don’t always agree with ever decision you make but you and Jolene are doing it every day. Living a hot hod life, and that I love.
To fix headlight plastic, they need to be sanded and painted with clear coat. Otherwise they will keep hazing.
yes. sand with 800 then wet sand with 1500 then clear with a 2 part with U.V. protection. the headlight fades cause the U.V. protection is gone and the sun is breaking down the plastic
Always good with Jim in the house. Thanks for sharing
Jim bo I love listening to him. Chad and him get along so well and work well together. Love the show Chad Jolene you're doing great.
going down memeory lane Its cool to see Jim's cobalt, those cars are quiiiick. I used to own a manual 07, which unfortunately it got hit by a pepsi semi truck but after years of not driving it I can tell you were reverse is. Now in those vw manuals reverse is a trick.
you mean slow asf supercharged and 0-60 in 6.1 sec lmao
Just got around to watch this show it was another amazing one and when jimbow is on he always reminds me of my uncle jimmy who passed away 1 year ago he brings so many wonderful memories back
Yup old jumbo fried more than one brain cell, seems like a great guy, must have been a riot in his day..
Factory 2.0L 4 cylinders supercharged are 205hp... They were pretty fast lil' cars. I believe Chev built a 2.4L Turbo version as well.
JIMBO yur a REAl hoot! keep JO on da cam/audio ....keep chad on schedule/productive and busy being polite ...he sure is polite and full of good information! a wide scope of content ... thanks!

I love your friends. I feel like I went home and visited some old uncle. Real folks, real pleasure.
The first rule in Italian racing - and the mirror goes out the window. I remember that lol.
It’s always good to see jimbo on your videos chad and Jolene 👍
Jumbo made my smile unstoppable. He reminds me of Dr. Emmett Brown with Marty in the movie,Back to the Future ❤ The man is solid gold 😂
I like the energie in the conversation between the two. Good friends keep each other strong in this demanding episode on planet earth.
Jim's such a cool guy....has lots of information...very enjoyable episode...car looks cool...she will love it im sure....cyas tomorrow
Hey Jimbo, how about paving the whole floor with that pile of bricks , it would look the part, and then broom a sand and cement mix into the cracks . Next a light sprinkle over the area with the hose to set it off.
Chad that vape pen he's hitting on ask him if it has delta 8 in it lol
Always good seeing Jim
Its a good day out at JIMS place. I'm wanting to go have a coffee with him , Chad &Jolene.
Jimbo is awesome! I love hearing his stories & conversations!
always educational and entertaining when Jim is around .... refreshing to see such an authentic character and his opinions
Jumbo is one of a kind, lmao
Great guy but he is up and down like a brides nightgown, lol
Love your videos and all the characters you have around.

Jimbo's a character for sure and Chad has the patience of Job.
I liked the video hanging with Jimbo. Im sad we didn't get to see the cobalt drive and do a small pull tho :c I was waiting to hear it!
Always a smile with Jim talking with Chad
Think harley is going to enjoy her new car Chad and jolene and it's good that it's going to be driven and not parked away. Keep up the great work all of you 👍 👏

My wife says I am like this , I don't talk to anyone for long periods of time and when I do get a chance, I unload everything I know lol.
Always a great day folks with Jim.n chad.

Jimbo sounds like a down to earth dude but dam he rings my ears 👂🥱🤧🤣
Love it when Jim is in the house!
That’s a nice looking car, seems like jimbo takes care of his stuff or he’s not to ruff on it like he is the Buick
Oldsmobile
A long 3 minutes buffing that headlight !
Damn you guys have more patience then the normal
Id like to correct jimbo on the years of the cobalt ss. The cobalt ss supercharged started in 05 and ended in 07, and the cobalt ss turbo started in 08 and ended in 2010.
Good little car. I have it’s brother a Saturn redline. Same car under the hood. Solid set up. Gotta do the Stage 2 upgrade chad
I will say this though… not sure what Jimbo was talking about with low torque. Lol. Those little cars move great with that supercharger at all RPMs.
Jim is a good time, but I wouldn’t get in a car with him driving! 😆👍😎
When I was a young man, begging for a car at 17, I would be absolutely THRILLED to get that SS Cobalt. Harley more than likely will be too. 👍😎
"Drop a gear and holder wide open" The best Jim quote ever.
I tell ya, it's always fun visiting Jim, it'd be nice to see Harley's reaction 👍
Super nice little car. Very rare pretty fast for a little 4 cylinder sipper
I hope we get to see Harley reactions to the car I think she will love it
love listening to jim and his words of wisdom
Jim is a pretty cool and mellow dude 😎 👍
He has great stories. 😊
Always a fun time when Jim is around
Jim has quite the collection.
Good man Chad for helping Jimbo I can tell you didn't want to but good man chad
You guys should go on tour!!
Jimbo full of knowledge, interesting about the shifter.
If nothing else fill the hole with dirt . What’s it gonna hurt ?
Bad chad there was a light flashing on the dash orange 🍊 unless the key is left in ??
Will be a good show and those Cobalts were kinda gutless i thought, but maybe this one isn't. Will have to watch episode later due to crazy work right now.
Great choice of a car for Haley. Good dad for sure.
Jim is such a character, I’m vaping too and I’ve quit smoking too
Use mosquito repellent with deet for the headlights it cleans it really good
The cobalt is damn nice! Especially with the supercharger and the bass speakers
Harley is gong to love that car. The color combo is great. I love red and black
Was Jim talking about the iac.idle air control.
I really hope there's a part 2 to this of Chad driving it because Joe just talk and talk and talk it sounds like a damn teacher from Charlie Brown WA' WA' WA' WA' WA' WA' WA'
Jim, a wonderful Soul, I wish to have a friend as him
If anyone could help what Jim was pointing at when he was explaining why it ran bad when it was cold? I have the same problem on mine and can't figure it out
Always enjoy when Bad Chad & Jimbo get together 😂
Boy Jimbo is a bit of a chatty Cathy. But you Nova Scotians seem very friendly. And it looks like a beautiful province of state or whatever
that car is just like a Australian manufactured car that sadly the company dose not exist anymore but its almost identical to 2017 Holden turned into Chevy Cobalt SS
It’s cake to drive, worth about 7-10k, but it’s a souped up cavalier. Fun, quick zippy, not powerful. Definitely a nice daily. If you drive it to Florida and decide you don’t want it, holler at me lol.
After watching the vid, 3500 tops, lol. And jumbo is funny. He’s a character for sure.
After buffing those lenses they need a new coat of UV protectant. Or just buff each time you drive it.
Says it competes with his brain cells !
Go Jim
