- We stopped in to see Jim to pick up the edelbrock carburetor we need for the 1950 Ford Shoebox and walked into his rusty nightmare that he's currently dealing with. He bought a car that he thought was in decent shape but it turns out it's a complete rust bucket 😬

Some of the best and most humorus shows just happen to have Jim. A true Canadian treasure, man i wish he were my neibour. You Bad Chad and Queen Jolene are so lucky. I laughed several timeswhen Jimbo is giving attention to what he sees in the future. He and i would be besties.
Chad, Would it be easier on Jimbo to remove the engine and transmission out of the rust bucket unibody car . Then get a couple of old queen sized matresses and flip the car on it's roof and cut out all the rusted floor panels and build a frame and cross members out 3 x 2 square tubing . So he can work with your guidance and learn how to weld up a stronger framed car. Then following what you did with the 56 Plymouth Savoy weld in solid 18 gauge panel floor.
It is a real hoot watching and listening to Chad and Jim. Jim does not need to apologize for speaking the truth as he knows it. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, as Chad often says 'take what you like and leave the rest'. Really enjoy when you visit Jim, lots of down home wisdom and a great sense of humor.
I could listen to Jim for days. Keep him a regular on the channel

Jim is exactly right. I live in Europe, in Belgium. Europe has these Euro emissions norms for new vehicles, that determine how much co2 and other gasses a new car is allowed to emit. These euro norms are getting tougher every few years. And our governments installed these low emissions zones in mayor cities where vehicles with a lower Euro norm(older cars) are prohibited. I even know people who ended up selling their classic cars and giving up on their classic car hobby, because they weren't allowed anymore to take their own car out of their own garage anymore. That is how real it gets!
I was down in the dumps all day until I saw Jim on here to night, made me laugh the whole hour, don't leave it so long next time, love it,,,,,,,

Well that was one of my favorite episodes. The banter between Old school and New, Jim And Chad, is priceless.
Isn't funny how when we forget thinking something through before speaking, we say the silliest thing. Of course I know Jim ain't silly. He just had a brain fart. As Chad would say. But what fun it turned out to be. It gave me a laugh!

Jim, does remind me a little of Jim on the tv show Taxi many years ago. Some serious fun in younger years but some mind bending is show signs but he is a cool guy .
There’s a lesson to be learnt on how Jim damaged his hearing. As he said his hearing was okay until the last pass on those boards and his hearing was damaged for life.
it is a little painful sometimes listening to Jim and Chad's conversation... but it does leave me smiling. Strangely enough, i do enjoy the occasional video with Jim... there is no doubt that he is a great guy. As for Jims political talk... he is spot on!

Tell Jim to change the hubs out to 5 lug 07 hhr hubs and he can slap 17" wheels on it. I did it to mine. The hhr is built off a cobalt chasis. Hhr brake drums and rotors 5 lug will work as well.

Jim, The US produces more oil now than we use. We still import some, and we export it too.
