HalleluYAH ! May HOLY SPIRIT lead and teach you in all and everything, throughout your life. May GOD bless you with many healthy children, who live to the honor of JESUS CHRIST, advancing HIS Kingdom. May you all-ways find the focus on Our Heavenly FATHER, who loves you dearly. Greetings from Germany. your brother in CHRIST. Ruben
I bet you know what you are talking about. I read a lot of Amish books and Yoder is a very common name in the Amish community! Are you Amish or Mennonite?
Anabaptist customs? Then why have the wedding in such a worldly steeple house. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and simplicity and have it in your own meetinghouse, or in a machine shed or a rented hall, but that gaudy worldly church building with the idolatrous pictures really takes away from simplicity and is very unaAnabaptist.
If pictures are merely viewed as pictures, and not elevated in our mind, are they idolatrous? Paul said all things are permissible, but not expedient. So perhaps you would choose to avoid such a venue, and if for the right reasons, praise God. But is it not possible to be in a setting but not part of the setting? In the world but not part of the world? I, as a former conservative anabaptist watched the wedding because we so seldom see God honoring marriages today. Vows sweetly spoken of submission to God's design for authority in a home. May God richly bless and keep this young couple.
Mennonite weddings tend to be very large and we rent a big church to have them in because our own churches buildings aren't large enough. I'm sure they weren't thinking about what the building looked like but the accommodations.
The media on this is done 1st class .. An amazing memory captured for the future.. I loved it!

This video is what made me fall in love with four part harmony.
Wow, this was not a typical Mennonite church setting, but was beautiful with a God-talented choir.
Thanks for sharing,
Karen Yoder

I did not notice the setting, only the beauty of the Christians attending and praising God in song!
