One thing I've noticed about these vs. other folks is that these seem to almost match the originals vs. other that miss the mark or are missing instruments.
Trying to imagine if each generation was the first Pokémon game. Johto would be Mindblowing for a GB game, considering the quantity of content. -and furret would be the mascot- Hoenn... the franchise wouldn't be that different at all, Minun and Plusle would've definitely be mascots Sinnoh would have crap ton of Crazy theories today, probably even more than Kanto and the Regions would be more focused on lore today, riolu or buneary would've been the mascots Unova would probably lead to the Franchise being more focused on Story today, Minccino or Ducklett would've been the Mascot Kalos... Honestly is just as basic as Kanto, so Pokémon wouldn't be so different, espurr or skiddo would've been the mascot

Even for the Champion Battle, Starly is going to be a Starly. I know I can catch a Staravia in the wild. So, yeah.

Malgai I use the Gameboy soundfont that was made by CynthiaCelestic, and for the bass, I took a sample from a GB song and made it into its own soundfont. The program I use to make these remixes is F.L. Studio 10.
The XY sprites are a bit weird (What the heck is up with Valerie's face?) But they're actually pretty good considering that those characters never got official sprites to go off of.
i am old 24 now and my old red version and it's still work to this day I started in Generation 1 my game is still going and now I've made my own pokemon games wow go in Generation 8 that's making me feel old it's the truth I'll either sure on the video
Fun fact: the whips in the gen 1 sprites exist because in the earlier concepts of pokemon, the players would have to persuade pokemon to join their teams instead of catching them in poke balls and would make them fight using whips on them. In later development they decided against the idea, but a few sprites can still be seen holding whips in the finished game, like team rocket grunt and sabrina's sprites
I'll get flack for saying this, but the remixes for FR/LG have always been awful imo. I don't mean the demix that was made here. I just mean the general composition. It feels like there's too much going on and therefore nothing to appreciate. I mean hot damn, how many unnecessary instruments did they try to cram into the Champion theme??? It was like that with a lot of themes. It got very annoying after a while.
But, overall, red and green needed a remake. The original is buggy and just overall meh. I think the sevii isles did wonders to keep the game going, not to mention the battle tower.
It was their attempt to break up stagnation in the series. Really, I don't blame them for trying something different. it feels like Pokemon as a series has been going through the motions ever since the jump to 3D.
Cableguy15 I have to say, I respect gamefreaks choice with sun and moon. One thing I would like to have in the new games is that the delta episode should be in the first release of the game, not the remake.
