I appreciate someone who tells you like it is. No sugar coating, just reality based knowledge. And a course in this music business there must be salesmanship...
I've listen to Clinton Sparks before, but there is some gold in this one. he looked out for the kids talking about ways of thinking and the different levels of thinking
@@AllayEarhart man so much stuff. He was different he was honest he had melodies out of this world. He was a breath of fresh air for me because everybody else was gangster and he was way more relatable. His production was crazy the way he dressed was unique. He was attached to all these other eclectic people like santigold and mia and diplo and a trak. Chip the rip. KANYE! Like man cudi was that dude to me. I had all his mixtapes all his unreleased leaks it was a crazy time. Mind u i was like 15-16 when I discovered him so he was like a voice for me. And he was COOL! He wasn’t corny he was authentic.
Been watching y’all for years faithfully- I never left a comment but just wanted to just say really appreciate y’all for curating this space to learn and grow . Much love 🤟🏾
thanks Brandman for having Clinton Sparks on here! many gems in this episode, especially the skill of listening and paying attention to others and seeing the answers are there, and I also relate to Clinton in understanding and growing up in various different cultures. Definitely getting familiar with Clinton and will check out his free book, this is helping me currently as a music artist - with gratitude, LaynoProd
I'm grateful that as young as i am, i seem to be on the right path with the way I carry myself currently. I haven't released music in over a year, and i struggle with social media & "branding" because everybody wants me to be what they want me to be but half the time, it's inauthentic to me and i don't think i should live up to something i don't see myself as at the core of my being
I'm currently in the process of building myself and my philosophical & spiritual foundation so that i can interact with the world the best way possible, more importantly the most honest way possible
My white friend walked up to a group of young black nice gentlemen with guns tucked and asked them why they do that… He got an answer but definitely not the answer he wanted, some stitches!. Great content by the way, leaning a lot from this side. Representing from Ghana 🇬🇭
It's alot easier to say these things when you've made it to the next level 💯 you still have to drop music on Spotify or whatever platform you want, & your music still has to be good in my opinion then in my mind they will care about who you are want to know if you have a brand set up but as a artist with no help to me it all starts with making sure your music is good then you move on to what this brother saying

The sound effects he's referring to was originated by Jamaican DJ sets called sounds in the 60s 70s and 80s unless he been around since then. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Nah! Dancehall reggae DJs invented that style of playing records. Check the history of Massive B sound from Hot 97FM in NYC. And that came out of Sound System culture, like Stone Love from Jamaica.
Thanks for the comment. It was meant on urban and pop radio Mixshow. I’m familiar with sound clashes and dancehall DJs going crazy. I was speaking about hip hop Mixshow. Thanks man.
Wow... Is he really saying the sirens and everything came from him, when they was doing this since back in the 80s in NY? I turned the station once he tried to claim part of the Culture that he did NOT create.
He didn’t start alot of that shit he said he was definitely a dope Dj but I’ve been around three that era and before and he went around when I was hearing dis do that so most of that was 🧢 no disrespect tho
“welcome to being inside me” is insane 😭😭😭

Why Khory audio quality always bad? You can always hear the reverb in the untreated room when he speaks.
Great fuckin video
