Thanks for the video. Just want to add Sun doesn't have to represent the father in every case. Definitely more my Mom, who was the dominant authority in my home. (Dad was around but largely absent in a meaningful way).

Sun is still the father, even if it is weak. Of course astrology is not that simple anyway.
@@RippleDrop. Sun can just be the dominant parent. Not everyone has a father. Also, Sun is usually the father/dominant parent in a “Day” chart (Pre-Sunset Chart/Sun in Southern Hemisphere). Saturn is the father/dominant parent in a “Night” chart.

Story of my life. Free will has been a major theme in my life.. It's a bit confusing because like you say, it is very paradoxical. However finding that oneness, finding spirituality for me did wonders and changed my life in a positive way. Breaking out of the religion I was raised in (strict Mormon Christian) was also a huge deal in my life and I had to fight for it very hard. My mom was very controlling about it and when I wanted to stop going to church, she literally and physically forced me. I remember one day I sat down in the pew and was sobbing very hard but silently.. That was traumatic. I have everything except 2 aspecting Pluto in my natal chart! For the good thank goodness! But it definitely brings very difficult times.. and past lives of abuse or slavery.. dark times of depression.. and then the major power struggles between authority figures and I even bring it into my relationships. Thank you for shedding light on this aspect. It's certainly a very complex and deep one! Also transformational from the Pluto. ✨ Blessed be.

For me that 'first punch' is tied into the self hatred. In part it is a way of protecting myself by putting myself down in the dirt before anyone else can do it.
That said, there is also a definite urge to destroy others and expect a fight tending towards annihilation.
Brian Honeycutt Yes. I notice myself starting a fight because I feel I'm going to be attacked anyway.. So starting the fight is being proactive and getting it over with. 🙃 Sometimes it's about self sabotage.
Brian Honeycutt Pluto is all about destruction and rebirth.. Like the Phoenix burning and rising from the ashes. I find myself wanting to burn a system or a situation to the ground so it can be rebuilt! Even a relationship. Completely annihilate it so we can start over.. Some intense shit right there.
This is the unhealthy version of this aspect I used to feel like that but don't anymore

I watched this video several months ago but didn’t fully understand. Then through relationship suffering I’ve connected to my higher self just because this inconjunction; my higher self directly explained to me that my recent unconscious behaviors were due to this Sun-Pluto inconjunction both in my birth chart and in my Marks chart to that relationship. It’s really fascinating! I realized, then I go back and watch again this video and understand all especially “oneness”. Thank you Jewel.

Absolutely nailed it!! I spent more than 14 years purging and dying and being reborn, suffering extremely and going to hell and back. If I didn't have the feeling that this was happening because I had to clean out my closet and emotionally clean my system out I don't know whether I would be here now.

Going deeper in understanding my natal chart, I discovered this video. I have a Yod >>> Apex = Sun in Taurus in 1st House, Sun inconjunct Pluto (Libra 7th House), Sun inconjunct Neptune (Sagittarius 9th House). Pluto opposite Ascendant (Aries). I understand now the deep/hidden aspect of Pluto on my natal Sun (the free will and self healing from the past, related to abuse, self-image, father figure > spiritual awakening, regaining self-power through awareness). And yes, I'm a spiritual atheist. If I "read between the lines", you also have Sun inconjunct Pluto.
I don’t have that aspect. I put myself in the place of the people who do have the aspects I describe. I try to understand their motivations deeply so I can empathize and correctly explain the dynamic.
I have Sun square Pluto, as well as every other planet aspecting my Pluto in the first house in Virgo. I have terrible health and like the Phoenix I've been reborn (many times) with a lot less ego (I think). My father was a psychopath and very abusive (Scorpio). My mother was too (Cancer, sadistic). I am attracted men who end up having a mean streak, lots of Pluto and Saturn ...so I've stopped dating and have given up on relationships altogether.

Hi there, I'm a Virgo ascendant and I've been aware of the power struggles since I was very young, but my sun is in Aries in the 8th house (ruled by Scorpio and has power over Aries) and Pluto is in Scorpio in the 3rd house (ruled by Gemini which has its own power struggle with Scorpio) and this is very true for me. I have struggled with victim complexes, self-sabotage and was obsessed with feeling controlled in my relationships for a long time. I'm learning to tease it out now but I'm still figuring it out. I was definitely an atheist for a long time and I studied biology but I've had a hard time owning my knowing and understanding and representing myself as an authority. I've had many premonitions and dreams that have told me what the future might hold. If you have any advice for me to find that middle ground of power I'd love to hear more

Free will is an interesting concept. I used to believe a lot more in my own personal power but have a very difficult time trusting anything anymore (if I ever did) and definitely tend to project this 'you're taking everything away from me and just want to see me fall' thing that started with mom onto god or spirit guides.
I've got Pluto in 1sy conjunct Saturn, both quincunx my sun conjunct mars and chiron and sextiling Neptune so making a Yod. I know probably too much to analyze the full thing but anything you can say about that?
Definitely my sun is getting a lot of energy blasted to it (jupiter/uranus opposition as well).
I am very into my unconscious processes. I have sun/mars/chiron/mercury in 8th though too so there's that.

I have the semi-sextile and I relate to much of this to maybe a lesser degree. There’s less unconsciousness around dealing with my Pluto stuff (my chart is WILDLY Plutonic, and Mercury in Scorpio in particular helps bring it into a realized conscious realm), but this aspect throws an interesting variety in the mix lol. Aw man I have this aspect and as of late existential depression has been an issue. Even down to free will I question its purpose, since most creator myths associate reverence of God as the pure purpose of existence. The last few minutes of this video are jewels, realizing this makes it easier to breathe lol

What are the key differences between this aspect and the Square between Sun and Pluto.
You say that ppl with this aspect don't see themselves as plutonic but I do , very much even. But I also have moon and ascendant square Pluto and mercury trine Pluto
Me too. I see myself a bit more plutonic than anything but then again I do have my Pluto in 10th house and my Pluto in Scorpio also have a Scorpio Midheaven with a Scorpio North Node and also have my Mars in Virgo in my 8th house along with my Chiron in Virgo in 8th house. Yep.

Is that going to "lessen the sting," as you have mentioned in some other videos, or does retrograde make it more difficult for the native to see what they need to see clearly? You might be fully conscious of this aspect when you blessed with Mercury well positioned in your natal chart. I got orb 0,13 of Sun Inconjunct Pluto and I feel like great example for your very nice explanation :)

Hi Jewel I appreciate you sharing your astrological knowledge. i find a lot of accuracy in your insights. Do you consider the semi sextile as a type of inconjunct? or do you see it as having a different influence than the quincunx? Thanks for the videos!!!
She considers the semi-sextile to be a less severe quincunx, and she's correct. They are both "inconjunctions" as they are both 12th harmonic aspects; the quincunx is more obtuse and difficult to integrate being 5/12ths of a circle, while a semi-sextile is 1/12th. You can apply basically all her inconjunction videos to the semi-sextile as well.

This aspect basically makes you distrust yourself, and kinda scared of yourself in a way. If you learn to be humble about your power and accept the power of lack of power you have, you can work with the aspect and have a more healthy ego
