I cried halfway through this because I have this aspect along with two other pluto squares and I just recently figured it out in my chart. It makes so much sense as to why my childhood and teen years were such a living hell and why I do so many of the things I do and have done and have gone through. I hope to experience many of the transformational qualities of this placement because I feel like it will be amazing if I just let it be. That being said, I wouldn't wish it and my experience with it on anyone. ANYONE.
I feel ya. Sun Mars Venus and Lilith all more or less conjunct, with Pluto (in Scorpio no less) squaring all of that. And Jupiter squaring all that to the other side in the 8th house, opposite Pluto. We don't live our lives, we just try to survive them.
True! All so true, yet we keep our cool and mind our business until one really overdoes it! We need authenticity and integrity the most!! Yes, they must prove themselves before they are ever able to fully experience us.
I'm not surprised that this is a popular aspect people wanted to know about. Pluto moves slowly and stays in the same sign for years. For us millennials, if you have an Aquarius or Leo sun, or a nearby sign at a certain degree (for example, Capricorn sun at 29 degrees, Pluto at 5 degrees), then you probably have this aspect. That's millions of us. Many of us are products of divorce, broken homes.
I can see how this has played out in my life. You either become the darkness or you try to get out of the environment. It's very hard. I wasn't allowed to express myself growing up, so all of my emotions were bottled up. I have many angry, resentful, bitter family members that I was surrounded by. Many were upset about things like not having rent money or driving a crappy car, but also refusing to get training in order to have a better paying job. Maybe it's why I'm a workaholic. My parents, and later my step father, had a violent, awful relationship. I had to grow up fast, because someone had to cook and take care of things, but at the same time, I wasn't allowed to do normal things, so I was also oppressed. I have been working on that part of my life. I try not to complain or feel entitled. Cutting off contact with most family has been kind of a relief. Once I can move thousands of miles away, I think I will be able to move on and have peace.

Right?! I literally just reactivated my FB account the other day 😂 And I've never gone by my birth name on any social media. I have a love-hate relationship with social media. I think it's toxic on so many levels but I've also found some great spots on the web that make me feel not so alone. It's bittersweet. My MC is in Sagittarius so that aspect of my chart really loves to be on social media but all of my Pluto aspects makes me loath it lol. There are just so many aspects of my chart that do not want to agree with each other lmao.

I have Sun in 10 square Pluto. I can read others in first 20 seconds... Maybe that is not from Pluto, I have also Lilith in Scorpio on DC square Mercury...My Sun is ruler of 5 th so this could be used well in acting...

My ex also had this aspect at a very strong degree, 0 degrees. I always felt there was a great suppression to his fears. He was a great guy in general, and I was devoted to him, but it was a very difficult relationship because he had tons of things inside of him and most people, not even me, could ever scratch the surface of his emotional need or wants, or to understand the root of his situations. I always felt like he needed more love, but he did not allow himself to love more.
Yes, abusive father and I tend to be aggressive or elusive towards dominant male figures. I don't believe in anything for faith unless I have some sort of proof or strong clue. Also I am on Facebook with a fake identity XD.

My father NEVER was physically abusive but I have always been scared of him. He has ANGER issues but I mean ISSUES. He had mania. If the waiter would take more than 3 minutes on a order he would start screaming like crazy cursing at everyone. Once he got so mad because he could not find the duck tape to wrap presents, he would be screaming around the house. For me to see this since I was a child would make me afraid and tense every time I was around him. I would always be very aware of our environment when we were out praying that nothing would bother him. I am not judging him I know he has his own issues but I see this is my lesson to learn. He also has a very intimidating personality and never felt that I could talk when around him. I am learning to forgive him and to speak my truth now
Can relate to that totally, my father has a crazy temper people would run when it would unleash his rage is insane. So now me the sun square pluto I'm attracted to violent jealous controlling men. They come on strong at the start and go crazy for me, but they soon realize they are never stronger than me then when they work that out they run as they can't handle my strength and realness. My dad is Scorpio sun. He was abusive that my sister and me moved into my moms. My grandma said that if he hadn’t moved out at a young age she’d be afraid of him. I go with him to the village meeting and police officers are there in case he gets aggressive. I learned about his upbringing from his youngest brother and I see and understand though my dad is a very loyal man I seen how he gets for me

A very infamous woman i know has sun square pluto and she had a extremely terrible childhood. She is power hunger and will get revenge at any cost. I cant blame her. The injustice in the world will never end. I' ve heard that these people are never afraid of anything. And they usually get power easier than others.
To me sun square pluto aspect, that I have, is akin to character of Wolverine- Immensely powerful presence, almost intimidating, speaks less, always scanning through people, tenaciously willful, always in a conflict with that powerful part of themselves that tends to get out of control, sporadically, causing self sabotage.
Yet, when channeled the right way, an enigmatic force to be reckoned with. The watch-dog. The protector. 🙂

I have this aspect Pluto/Uranus square the Sun. I grew up with a violent abusive militant alcoholic father. Life with him was hell. I have lots of issues with authority figures. I've had self destructive behavior for as long as I can remember. I am ambivalent about social media, and trusting others is not easy. I have a hard time with relationships, especially with men. Love this video, a way I have found to stop the explosive behavior is to trace back what it is that started the suppression. Anger/Rage is about boundaries. When our boundaries are crossed REPEATEDLY we dont say anything because we were taught to not be rude but you better say something or you regret it 😂 that will help a bit

Yep. Not an actual male but my mother was basically the father figure. She's full of masculine energy, very authoritative. Long term childhood trauma. Gotta work through this with therapy. Definitely agree with the covert identity thing too. I'm on social media but rarely and go through phases of being active and not. Also the same with using myself as my profile picture. With the facial expression, I have a pretty emotionless face. Sort of like a mask I suppose. Hiding myself so people can't take advantage. Also very quiet, much more of a listener.

Pluto squares my sun tightly and is joined my moon with a zero degree orb. Also joined IC but in the third house. It’s literally on the angle and it defines me. My power scares me at times. I’m literally THE survivor. My dad was very powerful and scary. My mom was too. The two were extremes. My life has been a roller coaster but I’m way ahead of many my age already and have survived so much more and still standing in one piece and looking great. My dad was very strict and overbearing so I have issues w authority. I'm headstrong in many ways and I really hate bullies bc deep down I could be one but choose not to be. LOL, yes that is the look I give others when I know something doesn't sit right with what they are trying to portray. ( wayyy too funny) Also very correct about people being fearful when I get mad. I wish I knew how to ingraine the two but it is very hard to do when heated, overheated. It is good to know the outcome if this were to happen , to demand others stand in their truth. Yes! I know a guy who has Sun in Leo cojunct Jupiter, both square Pluto in Scorpio. His father is a CEO of a big company. When his grandfather died, Pluto transit started the inconjunct with his Sun and he's really been purging his inner demons ever since.

I have this aspect and I have Pluto in Scorpio in the 1st house and I have Sun in Aquarius in the 4th house. I am very self destructive and use to be very bad when I was younger. I was an alcoholic and I use to cut myself and attempted suicide several times. I just put my frustration towards the gym and video games. I'm content with that.

The key to these aspects is to find an outlet where you can destroy and create like completely gut a house and rebulid it, move every few years : uproot yourself and build an entirely different life etc. Difficult in relationships since they need the same destroy/rebuild cycle and not everyone is OK with that.
Yes, abusive and alcoholic father with a stellium in his Scorpio. My first ex also has a stellium in Scorpio, and the other one has Pluto conjunct Uranus in his 8th house plus a Scorpio midheaven. My own Pluto is dominating my 1st house conjuncting Uranus, plus I have a very sad Scorpio in 4th house. I've basically given up on relationships, thankful that I'm still alive, and I will die alone in peace. Sending love and light to all of you other Plutonians out there.

This is scary accurate. I’ve changed a lot over the years, I have abusive parents and I don’t even realize it at the time or I refuse to.My gf was actually the one who made me realize or accept it, that’s why I don’t live with them anymore.I’ve grown from the moment I separated myself from these toxic people in my life so the not being able to control to being in control suits me very well.I’ve also been sexually abused by my relatives, because of that trauma I have grown up to have this hatred and I lash out with the slightest provocation (I have sun square mars as well) However I do believe I have learn how to control most of my emotions most of the time.No one taught me actually so maybe that’s why it took so long for me to be where I am right now.

My friend’s 6 year old daughter has her Sun-Venus-Mars-Uranus conjunction in a square aspect to Pluto and she already tried to kill herself (because she’s feeling bullied by her classmates) so the destructive nature is very prominent on her unfortunately

She comes from a very affluent family, my friend’s parents were very wealthy so they don’t really struggle with money issues. She has her Moon in the sidereal sign of Sagittarius in Mula nakshatra, which is one of the most difficult lunar mansions, as it is the beginning of the 3rd and final stage of the process of incarnations, which in this point the soul is forced to renounce it’s beliefs, attachments and feats to achieve spiritual understanding as this stage has to deal with matters that are more ethereal and harder to grasp in nature. Being ruled by the South Node of the Moon, which relates to other worldly realms and dimensions as well as past life experiences, her Mula Moon makes her very psychically attuned to spirit and things that goes beyond our comprehension (a trait that is heightened by the fact that her Moon is forming a sextile aspect to delicate Neptune) and that is the main reason why others find her strange and unusual and don’t like to be around her. My ex has this. Sun in Leo and his Pluto is in libra, I couldn’t stand it. He thought he scared me with his intensity and I was not. Afraid. He tried so hard to dominate me but I would come right back at him and didn’t allow it. I have the sun sextile Pluto aspect. He was too toxic for me. I found him to be super annoying with this because I didn’t find him intimidating at all and that actually made him stop that I didn’t give him his way. He was very egoistic and i often left him alone with his anger, abusive as well.
oxymoron is that most with this aspect dont seek to draw fear in others. In anger they just dont hold back so people instinctively feel like theyre going rage "on purpose" to make them scared when its not the case.
My mom used to say this alot. "You think youre scaring me but im not afraid" ........🙄😮💨 im not trying to scare you im just p*ssed off. If you're taken aback by my intense feelings i could care less.

I have sun sesquiquadrate Pluto which is a soft square but many of these relate to me in ways I could not grasp for years. Yes, my father does have a powerful persona and he is the only one I have ever been intimidated of genuinely. I have also had issues with authority, going back and forth with submitting and standing firm but not knowing when it is right to stand. When it comes to social media I do indeed go back and forth between wanting my face scene, being vulnerable, and being an enigma. I also have sun contra-parallel Pluto.

do you read childrens charts? my son is 3 and has this aspect, sun in aries, also conjunct uranus. he is generally very happy and loving but can have intense and violent bouts of anger. it worries me to see this in his chart...his dad was violent when he was in the womb and postpartum until i left when he was 3 months...very stressful time but he has not wittnessed violence since then, although i still wonder if those early experiences were enough to imprint him with a violent tendency, he has also woken up in the night yelling "stop hitting me!" which feels like it may be the unconscious wound from being hit in the womb

the way this is explained is not in favor of someone with this aspect (like me). Ive tried for the last 15 years to express my needs and anger in the healthiest way (my sun is in gemini and my planet chart ruler is mercury which makes me a very strong communicator), but i realized it will never happen with toxic people like narcissists. I have developed 3 autoimmune diseases trying to find common ground. They are just not into harmony at all and they prefer drama and lying. Also, i dont have any problem with being completely vulnerable and authentic on social media, in fact i love it, is good to create waves and stir things up, but some people cannot handle it. And, i wouldnt say that i am looking for proof either or proving myself to people, i used to, but not anymore. And that doubtful look is all about being highly psychic and reading others energy to a T, so when they are not in congruence with their own words or with the divine truth, of course ill doubt them and raise my brows, but ill also let them be because thats their choice. Anyway, i didnt like how this aspect was explained. It leaves out lots of gems and blessings that come with it.
Does this also apply to out-of-degree square, or square by sign and not by degree? My birth chart has the sun is at 11º Leo and Pluto is at 25º scorpio. I've experienced all of what you described in the video, including hardships regarding solar figures (father passing away, abusive ex partner). If it wasn't for astrology I'd be in a very destructive place right now. Also I deleted Facebook, instagram, Twitter... feels good to be off people's radar!
Some astrologers will say no, others yes. More modern astrologers only count in orb aspects, though the ancients and those that follow ancient astrology use whole sign aspects, which would apply to by sign aspects. I personally believe in whole sign aspects and I think it would count.

I have a virgo moon,leo rising, He has his moon in the 5th. I have a venus square pluto. Anyway ..we got a great friendship and yes theres chemistry and we are always testing each other out and we are private.
I have this aspect but it's in my 12th house so in a way I think I am sometimes not even aware of how this aspect affects me or others around me. I think the self-sabotage behavior plays out for me in the fact that I am so fearless. I don't fear humans, I fear God. I also do not idolize humans. It just seems silly and unnatural to me. In the same breath, I love people but prefer to be alone because I am so misunderstood.
