It looks like you had an amazing day to hike Dix! My buddy and I did the Dix Range in September. That Beckhorn Trail was no joke and felt like it went on forever.
@@LincolnintheAdirondacksYeah. We hit that uphill right as the sun set. Walking uphill in the dark, after hiking those mountains, definitely brought out some colorful language.

Great video, it's crazy how quickly the colors come and go but they are absolutely worth as many trips as possible. Poke O was my favorite this year.
Was the fire tower open? The last time I was up there it was closed, but that was in 2022

I think the worst part was getting back to Hunter’s Pass and having to walk uphill
