You live in such a beautiful part of the country! That is a lot of skiing days! I don't have social media, so here are my questions: 1. Any interest in snowboarding? 2. You mentioned that you went skiing with friends. Who else joins you? Or do you prefer to go alone? 3. Do you feel more fit/healthy, because of the skiing? (Like, have you lost weight or gained a lot of endurance?) 4. I hope you do a lot of kayaking this summer and record it. That is something that interests me. Unfortunately, I work too much to be able to enjoy such activities. Stay safe and keep enjoying your life in the Adirondacks.
I snowboarded a couple of times as a kid. I’ve thought about doing it again, but at this point I’m fully invested in skiing gear wise. I ski with friends kind of randomly. During the week I often ski with another local at Whiteface after I get off work. Weekends I mostly ski alone unless someone wants to meet up to ski. Skiing alone has its pros and cons, but ultimately I do enjoy it. I actually lost 40 pounds this winter lol but not just because of skiing. I’ve been watching what and how much I eat. I’ll definitely do some kayaking videos!
Good luck downhill mountain biking! Lots of great places to ride in the ADK's, but Killington is amazing for beginners up thru advanced. Highly recommend.
Hoping to try out Killington’s bike park this summer for sure. I think my first day will be spent at Bolton Valley since it’s closer to me and then I’ll head to Killington the next time
