25:10 My personal favorite area (or rather, favorite room) in a 2D Vania is the hanging room at the bottom of the Outer Wall in SotN, it looks like it would be a nice place to relax, read a book, and take an afternoon nap. Plus it has a telescope for viewing the lake and forest around the castle
i think it be interesting to have a weapon rush system based on the idea that say you get a dagger, you are locked into dagger class weapons from there on. you can swap out any dagger for another dagger. However the base rule is what ever weapon you end up with finding first your stuck to that class of weapons. this alots for upgrading gear without down grading. but you stay in your weapon class. as far as armor goes, you will be classed based on their genre of armor, for example. you get copper armor, you can wear steel plate and similar armors to the base metal list. if you get army fatiques you can wear other cloth based armors like gym clothes. If you get ninja garb you are stuck with oriental gear like samurai armor that you can swap to. Now as far as relics go. if you get a necklace you can only wear that sort of relic. If you get rings you are stuck with rings. if you get charms you are stuck with charms. souls on the other hand you can use only whats used to let you finish the game. in other words, you can use any utility soul for progression purposes. You can also use the souls that let you fight grant and chaos. all other souls dont count. I will however suggest one other soul option soul you can use. the first 3 souls you find and or purchase in game you may also use. in other words 1 red 1 blue and 1 yellow starting soul you may swap between with the above souls. This grants versitility to your randomizer playthrough while letting you progress in both gear and souls.
I beat the aria roguelike yesterday on permadeath/normal. I got valmanway super early it was so crazy, and I got Final sword not too long after My Seed/Name was BROLY!__
I never really looked at phase 3 Graham. It really is a delightfully horrifying sprite with some serious The Thing 1982 energy. Is he supposed to be in some sort of shared womb between those two women?
tbf, it could only go up from here after getting so many bad armors since when them gone, you bound to find better, just too bad not extremely good in time before it got bad. As far as weapons go, i probably try to find the longest reaching weapon possible before trying Julius, the man in his prime goes so fast, its no wonder dracula lost back then, that some peak performance. Yeah, watching you try to use the hammer, was painful (not saying you didn't do your best, it just extremely hard to use), i tried the hammer before for this game and do not recommend.

That mod looks really fucking nice. Definitely like the darker colors more than the lighter ones in the original.
I’m liking them gift box icons for the loot. Really gives more of a mystery vibe for randomizers.
