Was very close on buying a new printer until I came across this vid. I used the paper towel method with isopropyl alcohol to clean the heads and my printer works now, thanks a ton!
Oh my God. You saved me money, I didn't have. I was goin to replace my HP Deskjet 1056 printer. Turned it upside down and found a portion of staples. I wouldn't have know I could open the back and check. I truly appreciate you!
You saved me money as I was going to replace my HP2050 in fact it had a piece of plastic jamed in the trap under the printer as you showed . Thanks a lot
You saved me a lot of time sir. I used "Baby First" baby wipes. I folded it to 4 sheets. Just make sure you hold tight as the printer will pull it aggresively. But this fixed the issue. Thanks again master

Thank you so much for this! I had checked the top and front openings but had no idea there was a hatch underneath the printer, opened it up and lo and behold there was, bizarrely, a piece of popcorn trapped in there! I was just about to order a new printer as well, thankyou!!!

Thank you brother for your help, i have watch a few and your advice to check the bottom part of the printer solved my problem..
i check it a few times but couldn't find anything obstruct the printer, until the final time where i found there is actually a small spring that happen to fall and stuck the printer, after clearing that it is okay!!
if i didnt do it by myself i would expect a Repair and part change cost applied by local printer shop!

totally helped me fix my printer issue!! found a little screw on the under side of the paper feeding area which was causing me all my problems 😭😭😭 THANK UUUUUU

Thanks bro. Easy fix, cheap, no money needed. I got a freaking pencil stuck in that small room beneath the device. Got it out, clean it a bit, then bob's your uncle, ready for action.

3:40 Did the trick for me, I tried all the solutions by hp but this solved the issue.. Thank you! Guess what I also found my kid's pencil finally, oh yes inside the tray :-)

GGWP, 2050A wouldn't print and told me there was a paper jam, i wiggled it and there was something rattling inside, turned it upside down and a screw driver point which I thought I lost fell out, tyvm!!!!!

Hahaaa. You made me laugh. That's a helpful idea for someone with limited space, but not very smart nor efficient. I do not cut food on this printer, scratches are probably from things that were put on the printer here and then. Hahaaa. Thanks for the comment. Have a great day.
Hi any idea, mine wont feed paper even i clean everything, it just keep rolling and it stops at the middle of the paper
Hi. There also should a cover on the bottom that opens up. Check there. It is possible that there is something in the way of paper. Use flashlight to look inside printer

Can I just put one black ink in the printer？ Still must put color and black ink to be able to operate normally？
I think you can use one color cartridge without the black cartridge and it will print all colors including black, but will use ink cartridge quick. I do not think you can just use the black cartridge without the color. The good thing is that you can just have the empty ink cartridge in the printer and still use black ink. As long as the printer has that cartridge there, you should be able to use it. Just press "OK" when printer tells you that the ink cartridge is empty and that will override the error.

At 3:40 mins below, after opening I found 🖍️ crayon, how to remove it🤦♂️
You can turn printer upside down and shake it or use tweezers to remove crayon. Have a great weekend!
What is the alternative cartridge no.
Hi. I'm not sure what you mean by alternative, but if you need an aftermarket ink cartridge, you need to get the same number ink as you would buy original HP brand. For example, in USA/Canada, this printer uses #61 ink or #61xl. color or black.
HP will not be your friend for sure again thanks to you
MyI paper keeps going in crooked.. even though there's nothing stuck anywhere and the paper is perfectly aligned
Make sure the width set guide in the tray is set against the paper edge, and the roller is clean.
@@303electronics it worked fine after I cleaned the rollers . But now all the paper is getting crumpled up getting stuck inside.. it's like I have to open the cartridge slot to the get paper out...
I give up with my printer. Cleaned it all. Bought new cartridges and it’s still printing images out with lines. 🥺
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with printer even after all the work. If lines are vertical, you may need to clean the timing strip. If the lines are in color, usually that is a bad cartridge.
