Nothing beats hearing this song live....saw them on sunday night and it was fucking amazing.....the energy they put out and how they interact with their crowd was pure bliss.

If it weren’t for DmC I would not be a Combichrist fan now. I think it’s heart-pounding and rhythmic soundtrack is a big part of why it was such a phenomenal game.
If I ever get a chance to see and maybe even meet Combichrist live I’d love to have them autograph my DmC box
I knew them way before but it got me so hyped that they made the soundtrack, it was just awesome. Kind of miss that in DMC 5 even though the new OST isnt bad either.

The song is like so deep, if one ponders on what it's really trying to say.
It's like two best friends when they were growing up then they separated because life does that when you get older, I'm talking like from your teens to your forties, and now life has gotten in the way, and they've never talked for over like 20 years, and if you do see each other once in awhile, all you can do is smile and pretend like everything's alright, but in reality you don't know each other anymore and you were best friends., you were part of the same crew, this song talks about exactly that and the hate that's in between, because somewhere you kind of wish that you could go back to the good ol'Dayz, but you CAN'T cuz time keeps going and going and going.

If your truly a combichrist fan, and have been since day 1..you would appreciate this and anything new. I too love the old stuff, but I just as much love the new. If you pay attention to the band as a whole, you'll realize that "combichrist" is a living organism, that is subject to evolution. And that's what they have done since the beginning. Evolved into this^^. I love it😊

While I love Combichrist alot, they have gone more towards an industrial Metal sound with more emphasis on the metal sound than the industrial, while I do like me both sounds together I did prefer them when they were all industrial and aggrotech before they changed to the new sound. I'm not hating it but to be honest in my opinion they are doing or traversing what's been done before, I'm not sure what prompted Andy Leplagua to change their sound, but if I had to guess it would be when he was hired by Ninja Theory to do the soundtrack for DMC: Devil May Cry. While I really do miss the latter form of the band I'm still a huge fan of them I will follow their sound wherever it takes me subconsciously and psychologically, we are after all their fans and they are weaving their sound to what they think we might like. And shits pretty dope. However i would love to see a return to old form album cause I know Andy's still got it.
I was gonna make a similar comment. I completely agree. I also think their work on DMC convinced them to switch tracks because it was more focused on the metal aspect of the music and they got a lot of recognition that way. Why fix it if it ain't broke basically they found that sound and ran with it. Can't really blame em tbh. But that game is honestly what brought me to them and through them I found God Mod, Suicide Commando, Aesthetic Perfection, etc.
If they return to their old sound they'll probably do what Slipknot did and try to blend the old and new. Gonna listen to em regardless but I also miss their old sound.
Not hating but there are PLENTY of metal bands that I already like. What made them my number one aggrotech band was their unique sound.
In the metal game they're about par. The only advantage they really have in that arena is Leplagua's voice. Gotta give the devil his due, he has a great voice for metal

To be fair this has more synth and industrial elements than their last two albums. I was skeptical at first but I checked out the entire album and it’s pretty solid. I’m judging it based off WTFIWWYP which I think is their best album.
No Redemption was the first Combichrist album i heard, and for me, that was the perfect amount of metal and industrial for my tastes. I've since got more into their older albums, but i wasn't that impressed with This is Where Death Begins, it was ok, but felt like a slightly watered down No Redemption to me, with virtually no electronic elements left in it. I love industrial, but when it comes to metal i refer it quite a bit heavier than they did on that album. This is the first track i've heard from them since TIWDB if i'm honest, and again i'm not that impressed...
Lady Chaos, Combichrist should not try to be only a metal band. Any joe blow with a distortion pedal can make the metal he was doing. Plus there is better options in the black and death metal scenes. What makes Combi unique is the industrial and electronic elements. That’s what they need to stick to as a base IMO.
I was stuck in a boss battle in god of war, then I listened to this while playing and I got a flawless victory.

I swear to god it sounds like 2 voices in this song. 1 is clearly Andy in the verses, and the other for the bridge near the end and sounds identical to Till Lindemann from Rammstein (Tell me I'm not crazy) also the 2 voices are layered on top of each other in the chorus

@@dorientjewoller113 don´t be so puritanical. They are and always have been commercial, they live on music. Maybe you think they record albums and hide them in the cellar. And yes, they sound different because they have evolved and will continue to change because that is what makes a big band, to be versatile.
