Gina, what a nice gift! God put people like you on this earth to make up for people like me. You plant and grow all those beautiful flowers, me I have a black thumb. Every thing I plant with my owner dies no matter what I do. Well I can grow deer food plots ok.

Great tips Gina. You need to get Hank to build you a compost pile to start making your own potting soil in place of buying it. Give him a reason to get a wood chipper :-)😀

I’m in a retirement area and only have a very small garden area - mostly all shaded areas. I guess in our summer -like now- my garden gets direct sunlight until 10-11 am. The remainder of the.day is indirect lighting. I inherited a Dahlia plant which is a magnificent striped one. Blooms are about 6” in diameter, really pretty.
Lantana might be great where you are, it’s a weed here. I’d best be off before they eject me I’ll send you a photo of my Dahlia flower.

Are all coneflowers the same as medicinal echinacea?
There are nine different species of Echinacea, but only three of them are used as medicinal herbs. You can do a quick google search to find out which ones 😉 hope this helps!

Can you root Lantana?
I grow lots of lantana but it’s so plentiful and inexpensive to purchase around here it’s quicker to buy young starter plants😉
