considering that's more than half the current world record for 1 rep max, i do not believe that at all lol. i do believe he could do that in his working sets though, just not a warm up, that's silly
nickrunaway2 it was probably a exaggeration yes, but considering guys like jj watt can flip a 1000 lbs tire like 30 times in a row at age 25 I believe ohearn could deadlift 600 pretty easily, especially if he was 300 lbs. Also you can still warm up with 600 if you start and say 225 and build your way up to say 700 with 1 rep sets

Rich was a cool dude from Sactown. He grew up training at Body n Power in Carmichael, CA. I remember training there a few times but I was stationed at Mather AFB, 86-92 and we had two gyms with everything for free. Body n Power had some monsters though. Hardcore place with cool folks. Bill Cambra the owner was cool af. There is really only one hardcore old school gym left here besides Super Training Gym. That's Muscle Systems in West Sac. Old machines, All steel plates. One room dedicated to squats n deads. RIP Rich. Mike is cool whether he's lying about juice or not. I don't care. No negativity and killin it is what its' about.
