So funny, but SO TRUE! I posted this on my family's website that we use to keep in touch. A bunch of the family viewed it, but nobody left a comment. I hope it planted a seed!!!

I especially appreciated the part about the couple with the screaming baby. It frustrates me when the parents just sit there and let them. Most churches provide cry-rooms and/or a nursery, but some parents are so consumed with being glued to their babies, that they don't see how inconsiderate it is to distract others from the message and ministry that those around them might desperately need at that moment. Yes, babies do cry, but that doesn't make it ok to just sit there & take away frm others.
They are used to the noise. They don't realize or care that others aren't numb to the noise. Try playing music through that. One of our kids used to drown out the organ!
this so so ture this is what the Church to day and is very very sad whene we go to Church is all about god and jesus not us i wish the Church was not like this but it is
@lakebay972 For a start the "Church" is the global body of Christ, not any one man-made organisation/body. Secondly, ministry isn't done for a Church, it's done for Christ. Invest your time, money passion and dedication in him and He will reward you according to His eternal riches in glory. Not that you should need any reward. If you love someone you should take no greater delight than the natural delight that comes from serving them - John 14.15. Church isn't about you - its about Him.
1. Because He was made a little lower than the angels,when He came to die for your sins 2. Because He was not just 100% God but also 100% Man except sin 3. Because He surrendered Himself to the will of Father & died for your sake 4. Christians are asked to pray without ceasing,not just some specific timings 5. For where 2 or 3 are gathered,there Jesus is already present.no need of large numbers 6.No true Christian worships idols 7.It is not 8.,9. Bible says the opposite & homosexuality is sin
Exactly what people nowadays seem to want...a smorgasbord of religion, a little of this, not too much of that, don't like that, put it on the side, if I decide I want it, I'll get it later on...smh, no longer does the focus seem to be on the Lord, it is about convenience of self!
HaHAA! My complaint would be as a church musician, can't different churches start at different times so us poor church musicians can get enough employment to live on? And zero complaining about the music. We can't satisfy everyone although we do try. And please if you want special music, volunteer for the choirs and other music groups. We don't care about your skill. We care that you are there. Please, it is imperative to participate because most churches can't afford the Mormon Tabernacle choir to entertain during the service.
