  • An 18x36 standard depth diving pool with two Globrite lights (one in each end) controlled by an Intellibrite Controller. These are most of the color change modes and you can pick single colors too. The vinyl liner is blue and really seems to kill the red hues.

Those are IntelliBrite 5G lights correct? Not Globrite lights. I can't see a Globrite light at each end providing enough light across a 36' length pool.

The contract and receipt states they are Globrite lights. I did not see the box they came out of or any labels on them but everything else installed was done so to the contract so I imagine these are Globrite as quoted.

I bought a new house and the pool has this light system. However, I am not sure how you go about changing the colors. I imagine there is some sort of remote that goes with it?

Gster326 not sure if you found the answer to your question but usually no remote is required, just switch on/off rapidly to change colors and/or mode.

Pentair Globrite lights are the worst light made by mankind thus far. I have 6 globrite niches, all six have been replaced 3 times now in less than four years. 18 lights at almost $500.00 each if I install, that's about 16 months per change out as they leak. Pentair knows very well the problem with the seals on these lights but refuses recall them or help their customers they cheated in the first place. The Pentair niche is gunited into the pool so they know they have the unsuspecting customer by the short hairs as it would be extremely expensive to change them out to you another brand. We will be exploring a class action lawsuit against Pentair as thousands have suffered because of this unreputable company.
